Actually that was William and Kate who had environmental award show a few days ago (calling it the Nobel prize of environmental awards), flew to America to hold the event, brought celebs from different parts of the globe on private jets to attend their show, but did not invite the winners to the ceremony receive their awards. Americans booed them too.

Harry and Meghan have never received awards for environmental work. Prince Harry does have something called Travalyst and is said to offset his carbon footprint each time he takes a flight.

Not that it lessens the hypocrisy... but heads of state don't have the option to fly commercial. As first in line to the throne, William would have to take private jet.

Fly private, eat steak imported from Brazil. Heat your 20,000-foot mansion, landscape your 20-acre garden. Just pay extra. Climate sin gone.

Poor people can huddle in cold homes and eat canned beans and stay put in their town if they can't afford the sin tax.

You want to reduce carbon? No more of special privileges. Everyone suffers the same for the sake of the planet's future.

Then the Royal family should have kept the ceremony in UK instead of flying all the way to America. Ceremony organized by the head of state is useless if the head of state is not even gonna invite the honorees to award them. It was just an exercise to rub shoulders with rich donors and celebs.

And yes heads of states/political leader can travel on commercial flights too. That's how all the Heads of states from some Commonwealth countries were asked to travel and later bundled on to a single bus to attend queen's funeral. Biden, Macron, and all the other monarchy heads were allowed to board private jets and roll down to the funeral in all their regalia. There is a key point that demarcates this treatment between Heads of State from the CW and the named political leaders. No points in guessing what it is!

British tabloids are absolute vultures. Meghan had it wayy harder than Kate ever did. Now enter a previously divorced mixed race girl, and they were ready to pounce and tear her to shreds. Not saying anyone is an abla naari, but colour is a factor wayyyy more than class. You can have the best education in the world, have all the class needed, and you’ll still never be white enough. Rishi Sunak being a prime example of being a farrrr superior candidate and not being elected by his own party members in favour of the useless white woman that crashed the economy.

They mostly fly in British Airways, just like they did last week.
