That tiff with KJo really is the best thing that happened to him. Unknowingly united the audience in favour of Kartik.
He was really good in Freddy, even though the movie was "Abey jaldi bol, kal subah panvel nikalna hai" and he needs to do more roles like that, in Kaanchi, Akash Vani etc. Hopefully he doesn't accept the Akshay Kumar 2.0 moniker and just sink back into comedy.
