I mean FIFA could but what's the point now? I know they have until Monday, but robbing Japan of their moment isn't good either. This should have been done during the match.

And apparently VAR wasn't used. The referee decides if they need VAR or not and he decided he didn't need it and he was counting the goal, so the goal sticks.

Curiosly strange World Cup 😲
