Soundarya was referring to the term known as Dubai scam gold. My Office colleague’s friend were victim of this scam.

Dubai scam gold is well known scam by con artist. Dubai gold scam, the crook spins a tale of financial woe, and claims to be so desperate they are willing to sell their gold jewelry for far less than its worth. Usually, the victims discover the gold is fake when they try to sell it.

Saanich resident loses $500 after falling prey to ‘Dubai gold scam’

A couple successfully scammed a Saanich resident out of $500 by using what is commonly known as the ‘gold scam’.

The resident met the couple on the roadside when they told him that they had lost their wallet and urgently needed cash to return to Dubai.

They handed the victim what appeared to be gold jewelry as collateral and drove to a nearby ATM where $500 was withdrawn and given to the suspect.

When the Saanich resident got back home, they found that the gold jewelry was magnetic and quickly determined that the material was fake.

Soundarya knew what she was talking. I don’t think she is one of the phekuchand who just makes random statements.

The statement Random Dubai Gold she made was referring to many fraud cases related to gold known as Dubai Gold Scam.

P.S: Soundarya was not calling gold purchased from Dubai is fake. She was referring to scams.

Does this woman even understand the value of gold sold in the six GCC countries? Random Dubai gold? Dumb woman! The gold sold in the Gulf countries is as pure as it gets and goes through multiple checks from the ministry and customs before hitting the retail stores. Uneducated woman!

Soundarya was trying to shut Archana who was trying to tell Soundarya that her uncle may have given fake gold. Soundarya was not happy Archana discussing it front of cameras. That is when Soundarya made the statement that it is not Random Dubai Gold. Soundarya was not degrading gold purchased from authentic jewelry store in Dubai. She was referring to con artist scam.
