Something Haute heavily criticized the awards show and with good reason in their latest segment. It was a mess. Ahmed should have gotten the viewers choice award too and FK should not have been even a contender. Instead of giving Hadiqa two awards, the best female critics should have gone to Yumna for Dil na ummed to nahi. And Jo Bichhar Gaye nomination for Talha was out of nowhere.

Its not surprising at all.

Aamna has given me a dozen reasons to dislike her but her devotion and “fraandship” towards a man whose actions against his wife have been criminal takes the cake.

If Jo Bichar Gaye could have been nominated then Wahaj deserved one.

Tbh both Best Actor awards should have gone to Ahmed Ali Akbar. He was phenomenal as Parizaad.

And if LSA did not want to award one actor in both categories it should have been Ahmed for Popular and Wahaj for Critics.

Unfortunately Lux and Unilever had already buggered up big time with the Popular category’s nominations.

I can't understand this hype about Humaima. Nothing about her appeals to me. Even in the character of Daaro in Maula Jatt, I feel Saba Qamar or Mehwish Hayaat would be far better choices.
