Confession scene analysis - Pt2 pg2- why ViDev is so Real.

Long post ahead and my very first installment of the scene that i was sooooo desperately waiting for.

Subah neend me dekhna alag baat hai aur abhi apne pure hosh me confession dekhne ka alag impact hua...like subah when Dev snorted i was like ye kyu kiya.. as Dev.... wo baad me but pahle more abt Vidhi (and thoda abt me)

so abhi jab scene ko pura dubara dekha... and after confession Vidhi was in pure disbelief with pointing fingers kabhi Dev pe kabhi khud pe while uttering "ye sach hai" "ye sach hai"

to tell you the truth... i cried... literally i cried... feeling as if Vidhi is that every single girl of her age, who ever confessed to her crush but never got her feelings reciprocated. And seeing her so overwhelmed and speechless made me feel as if all those girls must hav felt that very same intensity if their crush would have ever reciprocated (its so true for me... i could feel that sting in my heart only if..kaash main wo ladki hoti, kash main bhi itti khushnaseb hoti... to jaise abhi Vidhi screen pe itni khush hai to shayad main bhi yahi kar rahi hoti agar tab he would have responded..)

I cried... paused and cried some more.... not that i am not happy now... but i was so happy for Vidhi and could see my younger self in that happy Vidhi.. not sure how shall i explain just a time travel thing you can say...i felt as if she is me happy then and my older self is crying seeing her happy.... and wanted to hug her tight.

i am still crying... cause i can never forget this confession and Vidhi as character and how much this meant to her...

And after confession how Rachana acted..

Girl take a bow. like the biggest ever bow possible.... you nailed Vidhi... not that you lacked in past episode but every new episode you surpass your previous best and i had to look at you in disbelief... yaar ye ladki aur kya kya kar sakti hai.. kya wakai me aisa kuch hai jo ye nahi kar sakti and very next episode you again outshine you past best.

Keep it up girl... you are the most natural, real and an exceptional actor and Indian Television is so lucky to have you here and we as audience are blessed to have someone as supremely talented as you are.

now back to scene...

after confesison when camera gets back onto Dev.. i snorted and so does he before speaking up.... and i felt such a strong connection with Dev jaise he was also crying seeing Vidhi at her more vulnerable, more happiest, literally on cloud 9 state.... and he was feeling just like us as viewers while Vidhi was again like us who just got her love confess his love for her...

SPEECHLESS... OVERWHELMED... EXCITED....

Ha yaar it’s a deep emotional feeling we couldn’t express it in words.just we will we end up by experiencing their warmth , pain ,and sukoon .

Vidhi and dev both are deep in love 😍

In contrast Iqbal and Rachna both nailed it. He with his subtle ,natural balanced emotions and Rachana’s excited confused finally that sukoon vala smile and the intensity when they said I love you…..

Literally they gave life to this scene….👏👏

After seeing today’s hand holding scene I completely understood why they cut other hand scene on sagai time. This is the first time it happened after the feelings

Surfaced to them . It’s a memorable moment for us and ViDev also . So the editors did that to give this beautiful moment.❤️

Aise hi posts banate raho tum sab and mai padti rahungi❤️ bohot accha lag raha aaj sabke posts padke❤️ Rachna really did a great job with her expressions as she didn't have much dialogues 👏 she brought out Vidhi's feelings so well❤️

mai aur kya hi bolun mai bass aaj ke confession episode mein hi khoyi hui hun. This is probably the best I have seen on itv. And honestly I have never been much fan of confessions kyuki mujhe sab usually kafi ott lagta hai so usually I am busy cringing and getting embarrassed at it😆 But in NUKSH it was just so beautiful ❤️ no big words, promises, no candle light dinner no ott declaration but just a simple heartfelt confession of few words❤️

Bass aapne starting mein bola ki long post ahead. Zyada lamba nahi tha😭

It was a great moment for vidhi and this is the beauty of this show that we can feel connected to the characters and yes i too feel emotional and my eyes were wet i was totally able to feel what vidhi was going through

It was the best confession i have ever seen in ITV no drama no decorations nothing..... just two people face to face who are so much in love with each other....

wonderful Analysis Telly....today's episode is an epic so I of ITV.

thats coming in next part.. this was for Vidhi n Rachana for personal touch and also cause being Iqbals long term fan if someone could make me feel for her more than his character then that impact speaks itself.. so uska likha jaruri tha.

Dev ka will be in sometime tonight or may be tomorrow...

Yeh Kahan lambi post thi yaar ? Padte padte jaldi khatam huyi yaar .A magical write up of emotions overwhelmed in our soul and mind. Mind-blowing Telly . Yes Rachna nailed it , the way she was pointing finger at his heart she would have expected a hug but Dev isn't capable of doing it now. Even this time also he is so concerned for her yaar. His touch , his hug can give her lakhs of hopes , he simply said those magical words by looking at her eyes and she was very much emotional. A 21 year old girl who is not that much matured yet here she is bold and trying to be strong beyond of her age what would have she felt that time. The time when you realise that you have a special space in his heart you will get to know how intensely he is loving you and she could have felt this that time. In the emotional way she said she too loves Sir just touched my heart. I could say in movies too I have never ever seen these much realistic, heart touching confession. Telly you have penned down your heart here and I am able to see how much you would have tried hard to control your tears. It happens because here we know the umra ki Seema but also we get to know about the real feelings of Dev towards Vidhi. They were so natural. I felt after doing it Rachna would have cried literally because this was the most toughest scene and she did 100percentage justice to it. Thanks telly for giving this post.

Part#2 why ViDev is so Crucial.

A 45 yo man who lived last 30 years as A Son, as A brother,

lived just for others, was a giver all this while, always put his family (even strangers) first...

just imagine a 15 yo boy who lost his dad and he had to be an Adult overnight, who missed his teenage years in a blink of an eye.. and all he has left with are responsibilities of the household on his shoulders as Ghar ka Bada Beta.

and he took it all with pride.. cause this is not just any family its his Dad's beloved family... and he considered it to be an honor to be able to take care of it instead of his Dad...not everyone can do so.

And he gave his all... without cribbing. and while taking care of that family he mastered the skill to keep himself at the bottom of the list... in his very own list.

Just recall that khau gali ka scene when Dev says to Vidhi "bachpan ka ek ghanta lautane ka vada kiya tha,, tumne to pura bachpan lauta diya"

why that line was used.. why it was important...??

cause it was there to emphasis that Dev..even as 45 yo man now still misses those childhood days, still misses going out, having fun, making memories with friends......

he must hv had more such moments to miss his 16 yo self being a brat at home in front of his dad, to throw tantrum to get some thing dad dint want to give him, to hide behind his mom to be saved from his dad's wrath,

or 18 yo boy who could skip college to watch movie in theatre,

20 yo boy having fun in a college outing at khau gali...

and many many many more such memories...

but he never had those memories.. he couldn't create those memories as he was always living for others.. to let them make memories.

and it was so normal until when Vidhi took him to khau gali...

she let him be, he enjoyed as a free bird first time in life... he found a friend in her... cause that 15 yo kid is still craving for a friend but all he has around are grown up people who talk like adults behave likes adults...

and first time he found someone with whom he can be a child again.

(there is a saying in one of my fav kdramas that if you face a trauma in childhood.. a part of you remains in that childhood forever scared and scarred waiting to be rescued by someone who can dare to look behind that façade of The Adult you)

Vidhi did that very same thing... though unknowingly.... and that thing forced him to observe her more.

he was always drawn towards her for very same reason.

She was too Masoom for her age...

(may be i am overseeing.. but i felt Dev saw a helpless kid in her who had no one to guide her, to hold her hand to help her learn... just like he was left alone fighting his own battles at 15.. he connected with her mostly cause of that.. my personal POV)

So he saw a helpless kid in her.. whom he could help n groom...

while she unknowingly gave her hand and pulled that 15 yo kid out of his trauma of being An Adult so soon.
