Earring 👂💍- Ridu OS

Just imagine the situation although not completely aligning with the show.

Finally Ridu got Zoon's custody. They were exceptionally happy today. Indu did not even unpack her luggage well and had to manage in the heavy sarees that she got as gifts during the wedding. Now she can easily wear her comfortable salwars. She no doubt loved  wearing sarees but it was so that those ones were heavier than her comfort and salwars just took less time.

She took all the messed up clothes that happened in hurry these days from her briefcase and bags and neatly folded them on the bed before finding space in Ritesh's wardrobe to keep them. See also checked the various wardrobes and drawers to plan how to arrange her different things in the available spaces.

Indu was checking the drawers when in one of them, she found only one earring. And , it looked familiar. She realised it was her lost earring from one of her favourite pairs. But she lost it few years back, probably 5-6 years back. How come was it here with Ritesh? Then she realised it might not be hers though. May be someone else had a similar earring. One of Ritesh's female co-actors' or may be his ex or crush???? She could feel a bit of burn and anger rush through her mind that how could he keep someone else's earring with so much care when she is the Zinda wife present there itself. Or even if it was hers then how was it here? She could not tell which thought annoyed her more

Indu  was carefully examining the earring to find any signs of recognition when suddenly out of no where the father- daughter duo shouted - BHOW!!!

ZORI were very happy due to the custody decision and they were making mischievous plan of scaring when they entered the room and saw her lost somewhere.

Indu was really frightened by the suddenly shout of Zori and the earring from her hand went flying into the air towards her bed. Ritesh saw something flying and instinctly jumped to catch it. He did managed to catch the earring but he landed on the neatly folded Indu's cloth heap on the bed and messed everything. 

Ritesh told - Haan , don't worry, pakad liya 

And he gave the wide fake funny typical KVG smile. If Indu was not already annoyed, she became more angry seeing her mountain of hardwork  facing landslide due to her husband. 

Indu(angrily)- Ye sirf earring tha, bed pe girne par nahi toot te, aap jaise naajuk nahi hai ye ki itni jaldi toot jaye.

Ritesh realising his folly(again with his signature fake smile)- Don't worry mai help kor dunga na firse fold karne mai, tum relax Karo..

Zoon runs away thinking that today she is too happy to deal with another useless fight of her parents.

Indu(again angrily questioned him)- Madad toh tumhe karna hi hoga par ye batao, ye earring tumhare drawer mai kya kar rahe hai??

Ritesh blurted out-  Tumhara hi toh hai.

Indu- What??

Ritesh realises what he blurted out and with  widened eyes  tries to think of any excuses from his previous film dialogues.

Indu- Mere earring tumhe drawer mai kaha se aayi?

Ritesh(again blurted out in fear) - Maine hi sambhalke drawer mai rakha tha, Haan.

Ritesh again facepalmed himself in his mind for speaking the wrong words again.

Indu- Kya? Kyun? Kaise Mila? Kaise pata chala ki mera hai?

Ritesh(quickly covering up)- Mera matlab tumhara hi hoga, tumhare samaan k saath aaye honge, uss din yehi gire huwe mile toh maine uthakar sambhalkar rakh d. Taki baad mai tum esse mujpar na chado gusse se. Par kya fayda, hua toh wahi.

Indu(feeling guilty for shouting)- Ok thank you. Isse Mai bohot din se dhund rahi thi. 

Indu thinks may be her lost earring was hidden among her clothes and it came with her luggage. So she was actually happy that she found her lost piece of one of her favourite pairs. She forgot about the mess on the bed and took out the other piece of the earring and wanted to try it again after long.  Ritesh moved to the main mirror, where he was pretending to style his hair to avoid eye contact with Indu to prevent his lie being caught. Already living these days with Indu was resurfacing his older feelings of crush on her and now this made him more flushed. 

As Ritesh was occupying the main mirror, she sat on the bed and opened her mini purse mirror to try her lost and found earring out of excitement. Since the mirror was a small one, she couldn't see much leaving her ear. And as she was about to put her second piece into her earhole, that is when she got her 2nd  big shock within the same hour that day. She dropped her earring the 2nd time and Ritesh caught it again.Ritesh was admiring her when she was trying her earring and after battling with his mind and heart for some time, moved towards her and suddenly shocked her by huskily whispering into her ear- Wese isse maine kai saalon se sambhal kar rakhi thi, sirf kuch dinon se nahi.  Tumne hi mujhse takrakar mere button hole ko ye earring pehnake gayi thi.

Saying this he gave her the earring and  moved a little bit away but still stood behind her.

Indu was shocked by seeing this side of Ritesh for the first time out of the screen in real life and was struggling with trembling hands to put the earring in her ear.

Then Ritesh took another bold step. He caught her hand stopping her from wearing it and huskily whispered again- Itne saalon se jo sambhalke rakhe hai uss hisab se toh usse pehnaneka mauka mujhe milna chahiye nahi.  Indu freezed for a while and then nodded her head and gave the earring to him. She didn't not understand where her actual mind ran away and whose mind is controlling her right now. He  turned her towards the mirror and slowly and carefully made her wear the earring while occasionally gazing at Indu's eyes through the mirror, while Indu was continuously staring at the mirror. She actually found the sight in the mirror very satisfying and actually started to admire both of them together.

After Ritesh finished his work, he again stared at her eyes in the mirror and smiled. Indu too smiled back. They both realised, it will no longer be a compromise for Zoon, but a sweet story of themselves soon and both excited for the enjoying what life has in store for them.
