Secret Love is a show I watched more than once. It is toxic but also the balance is so fine that unlike lakorns, it never makes you cringe. That scene where she crosses the street, the car hits her and then she gets up and walks on like nothing happened! Ouffffff!! I sometimes dig up that scene...just that scene. Also I loved the burn scar she got....like you see a brutal unmistakable physical manifestation of the devastation wrecked on her by these two men in her life...one claiming to love her and the other hating her. I think there is a Turkish drama as well based on the same show. Meryem.

Khaani is proper intense. FK in it is phenomenal. That first episode where he kills the brother.. I was totally unprepared for it and it was chilling to the bones. What a performance!

I've watched Secret Love twice... I just loved their chemistry, the intensity of the storyline and how everything was balanced in this show... One of my favorite scenes is the one that she had found out about the circumstances under of which her father had died and she started hitting her head against the wall and then he put his hand to block her... 😍🔥 Many favorite scenes but this one really stood out to me... The fact that he hated her but also wanted to protect her, this inner fight with his own feelings... I liked the thai one too, not as much as the Korean version but again Mark's and Yaya's (the lead couple) chemistry was such a delight to watch... Meryem was fine too but nothing special.. Khaani was amazing.. Acting wise, music wise, for me there wasn't a single flaw in that drama... The only thing I didn't like was the ending but still one of the best dramas I've watched...

So they scrapped a track for which they went all the way to Dubai just because one actor from the show is embroiled in controversy and a legal battle? Some professionalism that is! Scrapping the show at that point or replacing the ML would instead have made more sense if they did not want to associate with him.

No no....they showed it...but we had figured out from the BTS that there would be some conversation between Ayet in that scene. That was not shown.

For Dil Kya Karey, I left a comment on the youtube video asking them to add English subtitles. Will you also comment like that? If they see people want subs, the channel might provide us with it. Asking others who see this to also comment asking for subtitles.

Really, I know exactly how you feel! They are acting like everyone working in the industry are saints and only FK is some devil incarnate who needs to be exorcised.

Also I have realised there is another reason why I am pained by the lack of Basit's emoting scenes. We have seen Basit's sadness, the depth of his grief and loneliness. We need to see his happiness. Not how he is making Ayesha happy. I mean that is also important but that sadness of the early episodes needed to be balanced out with his present happiness. Like the scene where he is watching her sleep, or the smile (that was cut out) when he wears the shirt she had gifted him. I am sure there must have been more such scenes but we only see Basit playing Prince Charming and making Ayesha's life into a fairytale.

I literally remember waking up full of sadness thinking of Basit (especially epis 15-17) but now we are not being given the balance of that happiness Ayesha has brought him.

I knowwww!!! And I had actually developed a crush on him after watching the first 12 episodes for the way he had made the show. 😒 But then his personality came in the way.
