Neerja movie did not win for same reason. Good movie but ignored by BJP it cell.

Udta Punjab had shown real drug problem of Punjab. I have collegues who have lost family due to extreme drug addiction. It used to be available everywhere. After that movie police did started working against drug lords atleast before media.

Udta Punjab was protested by many in Punjab. Not an accurate depiction of where the drug problem stems from. It is a well made movie. It introduced the talented actor Diljit to Bollywood. (Not supremely talented but again a better talent compared to most nepo kids)

He won filmfare best debut. One of the more respectable decisions made by filmfare in recent years. Again Ranveer is going to make sure all award functions lose respect by buying each and every award this year.

I just liked that it took a different contemporary theme and was well made

Agree, refreshing to see talents like Diljith who are more real then usual nepokids, deserved the award

yep, ranveer needs to pipe down, he will take whatever respect (is there any?) left in these awards down the drain

Can someone explain this Ranveer stuff? Is the implication that he has bought all the previous awards he has won?
