This brand is definitely set to be doomed but Deepika did not launch her clothing brand after Anushka. It was the other way around. Deepika first worked in collaboration with Van Heusen for 2 yrs then launched All about you in collaboration with Myntra and after it became a profitable venture (Myntra chief n she did interviews about it on business channels) she sold her stakes to Myntra n bowed out.

In an era , skin care products like ordinary and its copied Indian version minimalist launches their fragrance free products with clearly mentioning the uses of each product ,here she launches skincare products without even mentioning the USP of the products. Also it is high-end products. Who will try it when we get similar products of Ordinary and minimalist under 1000k that too the former has been in market for more than 3 years.

Ummm no. UMC can definitely buy these products on a regular basis lol. I know a lot of UMC people & they all use skincare lines more expensive than this on a regular basis. Fully in agreement that this is marketed towards the UMC & above. Regular Indian middle-class can’t really afford these products on a regular basis.

It’s shit. I love DP but this is pure shit. Atleast PC gave the appearance of being into Anomaly (which is also quite shit) but DP just announced it like what? 2-3 days ago? And now it’s already on the market??? Without her even speaking about it/launching it?! SHIT marketing. As a rule, I never ever buy celeb launched stuff. Whatever it might be. Only Fenty& Rare Beauty are worth it, in india, ONLY Kay, but everything celebs do, like perfume & skincare especially, is terrible terrible terrible.

We shall do ourselves a favour & skip this.

Have you tried any products by Dr. Sheth? I used their Olive Squalane oil which I found very good for my dry skin but they seem to have discontinued it. Any Vitamin C serum you've tried and would recommend?

I’ve gone through 10 (not even kidding) bottles of the Dr Sheth’s Vit C serum! It’s got a great formula! But it legit didn’t do much for me. Practically nothing. A lot of beauty influencers I trust & Follow & derms love it, so give it a go.

If you really want to build your routine, spend the most that you can on serums & creams- Stuff that stays on your skin for hours & hours. I follow this now though I’ve hyper-sensitive skin so it all just comes down to the ingredient list & quality.

A Vit C serum I’ve tried & liked a lot is the Skinceuticals Vit C serum ( they’ve different formulations depending on your skin type though if you live in india, you won’t get it here) & The Drunk Elephant Vit C serum. Fun fact- Skinceauticals tried to/or did actually sue TDE for this Vit C serum b/c the formulation is identical to theirs!! 😆

Clinique Vit C serum is good to & in available in india.

This was so underwhelming. I have friends who are really in to skincare and very knowledgeable about brands but they did not even knew she was coming out with a skincare line or that she was working such a line in the first place. Apart from DP fans and people who follow BW gossip who even knew this was coming out?

They just dropped it out of nowhere without building any hype or creating targeted ads for skin care lovers. Where is the hype? Where is the anticipation?They even got the branding wrong. High price plus ugly cheap looking packaging without any distinct, unique selling point. Fenty Beauty, Rare Beauty, Kylie's line or even Kat's Kay all have distinct packaging. I mean clean, vegan, cruelty free brands are very common these days to stand out they needed to have a unique selling point. Like how Kay beauty was promoted as a brand suitable for every Indian skin tone, Rhianna's Fenty is branded as the go to product for any person of colour.

Everything from Rhianna's Fenty Brand is so hyper people waited and Slena's Rare Beauty drops even Kay had a very good campaign by using stars like Nayantara, Saina Nehwal and ad inclusive of different skin tones.

Hey thanks for all the info ! I was actually planning to buy Dr. Sheth's Vit C serum. Let's hope it works for me!
