Exactly...those two office scenes of Basit with Soha and Bano were the best scenes today. The way he cut short Soha's bossing around and put her in place with a mere look. And then the way he spoke with Bano, about the loan, it was such a nice scene. MM has gone crazy. Cutting out Feroze spoils every single scene he is a part of. This is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I am so done with Habs. If you are up for a watch party of Dil Kya Karey let me know. Though Yumna-Feroze on-screen chemistry is not as great, I have been told but it does have a great cast overall and I am never disappointed with a Mehreen Jabbar project.

Very impactful scenes indeed!! I loved loved loved how Basit put Soha in her place. Like I know you’re my friend but this is my office, these are my employees and most importantly no one messes with Bano because she is important to my wife. Dreamy indeed 🥰

I think Soha is such a negative character and so envious of Ayesha that she’s unable to even pretend properly anymore. It is quite visible that she’s looking for crack in Ayet’s relationship and despite repeatedly poking, Basit doesn’t give her any space to intrude this time.

I would love to do a watch party of Dil Kya Karay! I’ve watched it a couple of times but would love to discuss it with you 🤗❤️ I’ve very busy with shifting this week, should find more time during the weekend though or from next week onwards.

Exactly!! Basit's behaviour with Soha was perfect! In fact it did appear like he noticed something was off about Soha today when she said those things about Bano and so drew that line pretty firmly.

I am just really upset they denied us that pool side scene. We saw more of the pool than of Basit in that scene. And we needed to see his expressions. Those are what give us joy and what we deserve to see after the painful separation track. Urghhh... I am so upset. I don't even want to rewatch scenes today.

As for Dil Kya Karey...Next week and weekend sounds good! We'll draw up a schedule so that we don't go overboard. It will be my first time watching it though...I've only watched the first episode completely and then didn't get around to finishing it. Let's see if anyone else might be interested as well...

Yes!! I also felt that Basit noticed. As for the pool scene, yes it sucks but I’ve stopped expecting anything better from the director. They even robbed us of their honeymoon!! I mean if they were facing budget constraints which I don’t think is true, they could have shown us a hotel scene with Ayet. But they didn’t do anything, very lazy indeed. So let us just be grateful for any crumbs of Ayet thrown our way.

I think Basit has become adorable 🥰 Love really suits him. Now every time I see him with Ayesha, I expect another surprise 🤣 We can do with more talking though. Can we discuss whatever little Ayet scenes we saw today? I need this to cheer me up!!🤗

Maybe tomorrow will be back to discuss Ayet scenes. Am feeling too down today. Even Ayesha's face was irritating me since it wasn't balanced with Basit's counter expressions.

No worries! Take your time. I meant I would love to discuss those scenes whenever you feel like it. I understand that we as viewers have invested so much time, emotions and energy to this show and then the director went on a sabotaging spree leaving all of us gutted 😔

FK is indeed carrying the whole show on his shoulders, no one would’ve stuck around to only watch Ayesha’s character. Also do you feel that Ayesha’s character has been diluted now? The Ayesha that we saw in the initial episodes carried a certain strength and conviction along with vulnerability. This Ayesha doesn’t seem to have quite the same appeal without Basit by her side.

Yess...we need to recoup and get back to our Ayet discussions... and so true about Ayesha feeling diluted in terms of screen presence. This is because Ayesha and Basit played off each other. The scenes must have been constructed as such. You can't clap with one hand. All their scenes left me feeling like something was missing. Feroze did carry the show on his shoulders and made even the cliched seem exciting. But now, with him being cut out, the show is really baring all its flaws. The never-ending saga of cliches do not interest me. There is really nothing interesting in the show apart from Basit's scenes at this point. There, I've said it.

I have never been this angry-disappointed after watching an episode of any drama of this subcontinent....like literally. Am fuming. I regret the emotional investment I made in this drama.
