What happened to his cooking passion, he should have been left to his cooking dunya passion and that way we would have Dev pursuing his passion being around Vidhi.

In his mind he is getting his brother settled. Dev is always saying no to marriage, we as a viewers know real amba. Abhimanyu does not. So for him she is perfect match. Same age, good looking, business woman, career oriented, interested and loves dev so I do not think Abhi many as a brother is wrong.
he does not know devma have history or dev denied and does not like amba at all.

If he tells them they will understand.
They see her as a good match. They do not see her other side which we viewers do. She is very carful and emotionally manipulative

Arre according to them amba is suited match. We as viewers know real amba. They just think he is saying no as. Always he says no to marriage at all.
plus they have not seen another Side of amba that we as viewers know

Dev has not told them he had history or past with amba. Unless I missed something

Kitna mazaa aa rha tha Dev ka utawalapan vidhi ki mann ki baat jaanne ke liye thode din nakhre dikhaati vidhi lekin ye to without filter sab sach bol deti hai. Wo amba 15saal mann mein dubaaye rhi apni feelings ye 15din nhi rakh paayi.
