It is disappointing for sure. Definitely had high hopes for Dev's character. Did Amba have anything to do with this track? Did she spread rumor about Dev and Vidhi's character and her parents are worried about it and to save Vidhi from all this, he says yes to Amba? May be to protect Vidhi's image?

I wonder what may have triggered him to say yes to Amba and Chitra now when he clearly said NO to them in the past. I saw the BTS where Satyavati is shown to be crying but maybe she thinks that Dev is marrying Amba because of Chitra but that's not necessarily the entire truth?

Or can it be that Amba pressurized somehow that the house will be demolished if she does not give up?

I can't think of a good reasoning here other than him sacrificing his love life because of Vidhi.

Yeah what if Dev compromises just for Vidhi so Amba stops bothering her and her family?? What we think he is doing for Chitra.. he actually does for Vidhi.

All I can say is we wanted angst and we will get it. Videv is endgame. Let the story unfold. We know its a difficult love story of an unusual couple. Both of them need to be strong, this wont happen in a day. It will take time. Dont worry about Amba she will be exposed soon.

Initially, I had thought we will be seeing that A pressurizing Dev for marriage using Chitra, like if u want your sister to be happy in my house you have to marry me, but here we are gonna see Dev sacrificing his love for Vidhi who is his love to protect her.

I like that if that is the reason behind Dev saying yes, it shows he really cares about Vidhi and in a way it shows he prioritizes Vidhi above anyone and himself. It gives a sense he truly love Vidhi.
