That being said Munshi Premchand Ji was such an acclaimed author, and Satyajit Ray Sir is also an amazing director, and this film actually showed how self-centredness, detachment and cowardice of India's ruling classes catalysed the annexation of Awadh by a handful of British officials. Unke movie ko aur thodi izzat milni chahiye thi.
