I didn't follow Ashoka but didn't they just rush the whole Kalinga war thing and instead of showing the crucial parts of his life, wasted the entire adult-life parts in petty romance. I know Ahilya is way past that phase, but I'm hoping the makers here focus on the relevant things instead of ruining it for what brings them more TRPs.
