This is a must-win game for Zimbabwe as a loss will end their campaign. Zimbabwe currently have a win, a loss and an NR in three outings. They stunned everyone after beating Pakistan but will have to beat Netherlands and India to have any chance of qualifying.

The Netherlands are almost out of the tournament so they can play freely and spoil the party for Zimbabwe. They are placed at the bottom of the points table with three losses in three games.

The last couple of days for Zimbabwe could've perhaps been spent ruing what could've been.

An exceptionally spirited performance saw them down Pakistan by a run and dream of upsetting the applecart in Group 1. A bizarre finish in their game against Bangladesh, however, sullied their campaign to vIJAYa great extent.

If they'd capitalised on Bangladesh's error under pressure, they'd have gone into Wednesday's game second on the table with five points.

But they didn't, and have their qualification tied to several other results.

For Netherlands, life in the Super 12s has been rocky and they've already been knocked out. But to even get to this stage - ahead of Namibia - is commendable.

Despite losing all three games in this stage, they've been anything but pushovers and their thirst for first points could be quenched on Wednesday.

Zimbabwe and Netherlands will head into the game with different agendas but a very similar strength. In a World Cup that the fast bowlers have enjoyed, these two sides have lined up with a host of impressive pacers who have been among the wickets.

The day game in Adelaide might just come down to which set out bowls the other.
