Basit should realise he came close to losing Ayesha the way he lost his mother.

How does clicking pictures with Soha and co become more important than ensuring your wife’s safety as well reassuring her of your feelings?

The second scene that troubled me was Basit allowing Soha to comment on Ayesha previously being his employee, her social and financial status, the state of his marriage and if Ayesha had the ability to adapt to his lifestyle? Why would you let an outsider (even if you call her your friend) you met two days ago comment on your wife and marriage? Isn’t loyalty a two way street? Also loyalty isn’t only physical, you have to defend your spouse against attacks or unsavoury comments despite whatever disagreements you may have had.

Can you guys please help decode Basit here.

I think it's just poor writing where all characters act out of their characters . If not "out of character" , def frustrating and stupid. Ayesha has been talking like this to bano since so long ..now basit did it..when they have reached a point where they realized they need each other / love each other , there is no point of all this. Like Hassan said in SH , when ayesha decided to tc of basit in the hospital , her points r moot..basit ghar nai aaya lene, basit ne ma ki beizzati ki(abhi khud hi beizzati karke Nikli hai ma ki) , etc etc ..n basit looks serious except while talking abt ayesha behind her back.

It seems though the writer wants them to not express their true feelings , but at least not serve us this stupidity where they do nothing except badmouthing each other behind their backs n the other listening. Basit was never this naive to fall for sohas trap...basit and ayeshas actions and words don't match

I hadn't thought about insisting in dropping her home but you're absolutely right! As for your second point...Hell yeah... How come an outsider, who in fact isn't just an outsider she's a bitch trying to woo him under the guise of an old friend, has the right to discuss with him about such personal matters... As I've already said before it's totally out of character. If Basit is depicted as an introvert and a reserved guy since the beginning there should be no exceptions and especially for Soha...

The writing is definitely an issue here... There are scenes that don't make sense, actions that don't fit the characters and sometimes an aimless constant dragging...

Not related to Habs but have you guys watched Ishqiya? It just keeps popping up in my YouTube recommendations and I'm considering giving it a shot but still don't know... Is it worth watching?

I have watched Ishiqiya. It is fun and definitely worth watching. However, don’t expect it be intense as Habs. The chemistry between the leads is great. It is one of my favourite shows.

I always recommend ishquia , you may get hooked from the 1st epi only but I have a major issue with its ending ..never mind , first few epis set up the base for the story , it really picks up from epi 6 or 7 I think..watch it for rumi (hania ) ..she kinda gets butchered in the end but it's still worth a watch

That's great! I think I'll start watching this right after Habs 😍 As long as the chemistry is there I'm all in 😂

I'm okay with a sad finale, if it fits the story. I mean if there's consistency in the script and the ending doesn't deviate from the scenario's overall spirit I'm totally fine with it. But is that the case? (I don't mind spoilers so you can elaborate as much as you like) 😂

For Ishqiya, I always treat the ending as separate from the show. You won’t regret watching it. The series hooks you. As long as you don’t focus on the ending, it should be okay. Also the ending doesn’t take away from the show. Beware that unlike Habs, FK isn’t the star of this show, Hania is. She’s a refreshing female character, so you won’t get disappointed.
