When it comes to Sai he loses all rationality. The way he behaved with Vinu when he first met Sai in Kankavli and yesterday how he was hell bent on training him. How is he a good father when he can’t prioritise kids over his ego and anger?

Uske bas ki yahi hai. He can’t motivate or give proper direction to his son. And that is what they child needs. Not his rigorous training. And that only Sai can give.
