Damn, I seem to have touched a nerve here, haven't I? I'm well aware why she's rerecording and her rerecords have been mawkish to say the least. Music is subjective and I'm free to judge her music as I wish, bruh. What she started off with was not even country music FYI, she jumped ship to pop as it's lucrative to her career. With the same rehashed lyrics and themes in her songs, she caters to white pre pubescent teen girls. All her rerecords and the folkfore album have been her cashing on her past music with little to no changes. But just go off, what do I care.

Judging an artist's calibre by sales and records is how you go about it then by all means heap praises on JBieber as well. If staying in 2022 means listening to hacks like Swift churn out mediocre repetitive music to spawn off her wealth, then I'm better off in 2012.

A word against TSwift or her music and you'd have her fans coming out of the woodworks getting personal because how dare you dislike a particular artist's music which is entirely subjective. The irony is TSwift's songs are supposed to be empowering or some shit (how writing a dozen songs about break ups and berating her ex bfs is supposed to be so is another can of worms), but her fans almost always seem to gauge the opposite of it.
