I love how the the forum was active and fun today

The show is good, it's a little slow right but it's still nice

Pol to fall then obviously rajjo or arjun will be the victim and either one will save the other one 😁😁

And by the way had one doubt yesterday episode rajjo initiated some future track where she told arjun babu will cry for her once she leave home or the house he will think and rethink about how he treated her and will repent

So what that mean once truth comes or arjun se se his fiancee true intention till that time rajjo will leave the house?😬😬

the show is good but the inital promos as well as some aspects of the plot sounded a bit too simliar to imlie. so much so that I wasn't tempted to check it out initially. then did a random watch recently. so am sure many members might have done the same.

so it might need a few more episodes to differentiate itself from the pack and show that it isn't the same old bigamy type arc + village girl and city boy arc + wife forced to be maid arc == basically stuff that many have seen in other serials. it is the treatment and the writing that makes it feel different but you need to watch in order to see that...

but yea, just a few of us here -- so maybe we just chatter away and talk more! 😆

yea to be expected -- remember reading a tip for romance novel writing ages ago. there has to be conflict, confusion and separation even before the romance picks traction. then only the reunion will make the readers feel the happiness. so similarly in dramas, we should always expect some separation for him to miss her and realize her worth. to be honest, whenever I see leads being happy, I also know a misundering arc is right around the corner! 😆

Yaa may be arjun will sense some thing foul about urvashi and then rajjo will leave the house or his brother will sense truth about urvashi and he will try to show arjun the fake side of arjun but till then rajjo will be gone I think 🤔

getting married, we all said if there was 2 marriages here we'll quit. I'm not a fan o bigamy or EMA track

Quick update : Oct 28, Friday

Not to be missed Masaledaar episode today.. Having all typical ITV ingredients with the extra spice of our own Rajjo👏

Urv tries to pacify the money lenders making clear about the situation and how important it is to ensure that nothing suspicious happens.

Walking away she meets Pushk who deputes her to find Rajjo whom he can't find in the house.

Now no points to guess that our Rajjo is with her patidev... Here is the scene in brief..

While Arjun is 1/2 nanga punga, after removing his Kurta to clean the sindor and just before he wears it again, Rajjo walks in pulling his punching bag. Our sharmeeli Rajjo covers her eyes seeing Khaad babu's state of undress but doesn't shy away from arguing with him ( all very valid points too) .

Seeing her tiredness he pulls her and pushes her against the wall creating the classic ITV FL almost hugging nanga punga ML situation. He tries to make her drink water, she refuses and finally pushes at his hand making the glass shatter. Now our Arjun Saheb takes up his *lalla mode* demeaning Rajjo for her decision to fast, ridiculing her DIY saree telling her if she wanted one she just had to tell him and he would have got one for her as they have the habit of doing charity. Then goes on to say she is doing this coz she likes to dramatize the situation and gain sympathy. He says he will not break her fast. She stamps on his foot (Go Rajjo Go) to make him step away. She tells him that she admits defeat.

ArSa( very apt when he is behaving like an ...) tells her since she admitted defeat she should leave and never show her face again. She says that she admitted defeat only in the matter of thinking that she could make him understand her. But she won't leave him.

She then starts to pull the punching bag again and Arjun notices the broken glass on the floor and saves her. Rajjo thanks him and then tells him that she doesn't expect anything from him regarding breaking her fast . She has faith in Karva Mata though, who knows she kept the fast with good intentions.

Now for the fun part:

As Rajjo is leaving, or should I say walking away with a swag, she slips ..holds onto Arjun to steady herself ...push them both into Arjun's cupboard as they stagger and closes themselves in! She starts laughing at the way her khaad babu was sitting teasing that she can fit into the cupboard very well but can't say the same for him. Arjun taunts her that they are locked in until someone opens from outside and what will happen of her breaking the fast.

Now to the most thrilling part...

Guess who walks into the room??? Yes!! Urv looking for Arjun Baby 😆. She wonders where he is seeing the discarded kurta nd dupatta. Rajjo giggles telling Arjun that it seems he isn't reading Karva Mata's signals right. Arjun cautions Rajjo to be silent. With a naughty smile Rajjo replies never, when such an opportunity presents itself and shouts *Bachao*.

Urv opens the cupboard and there it is... Nanga punga Khaad babu and Rajjo fit inside the confined space of the cupboard with his hand over her mouth 😆

Urv pulls Arjun out and Arjun rushes to wear his kurta! She tries to guilt trip him saying it was her first KC, she was sure Rajjo was creating situations to spoil it... Rajjo taunts her saying whatever she does she won't be able to keep her away from her khaad babu. A voiceless Arj leads Urv away from the room. Our Rajjo for the lack of collar to pull up in victory, makes do with her MS with a victorious smile.

A short scene where Chilmil and her son advises swara to make use of the situation to be number one bahu. When they go away her father in law (forgot his name) tells her not to listen to them and not to get into power games but just be herself, the bahu who binds the family together.

All are waiting at the terrace for the moon to appear. Madho doesn't want the ladies to tire themselves even with the task of walking over to take the puja thali kept at the table and Rajjo is asked to hand them over. Swara thanks her and so does Chirag.

When she gives the thali to Urv, and moves away Urv shouts at Rajjo saying she is smelling bad, doesn't she take bath. She then sprays deo on Rajjo.

Now the ITV style divine intervention:

So engrossed is she in the task of putting down Rajjo that she doesn't see the decorated channi catching fire from the diya.

When someone calls out in warning Urv throws the channi away to be caught by Rajjo. Just then the moon peeks out and Rajjo sees the moon through the burning channi and then lowers it to look at her Khaad Babu. Sasuma almost has a heart attack seeing that not only is the moon out but her Lalla and her despicable bahu were having an eye lock through the channi.

Someone finally reminds the director enough of eye lock for Rajjo is holding the fiery Channi and so.. Someone shouts about the *ongoing* fire on the channi and shouts for water but Arjun takes a hand kerchief from his pocket and pats it out!!

Recap: Rajjo is asked to bring something from the storeroom in the terrace. She is locked inside by someone (probably Madhu coz Urv would want her near the shamianah). Arj causes the shamianah to fall and it catches fire. Rajjo is screaming to be let out, panicking seeing Arjun trapped by fire

had such a laugh reading your recap. 🤣🤣 these kind of cheesy scenes are very hard to recap. I would have no idea what to write. 🤣

bigamy arcs annoy me because it feels like either the guy is basically conning two women or is an idiot who cannot make up his mind. either way, not an attractive look! 🤷

I don't mind EMA tracks if it is a good exploration of marriage and relationship breakdowns and done with nuances. the conversations that come out of such arcs can really be interesting as well as educational -- basically people have so many reactions and it can be unexpected read on relationships. I feel ITV is not really cut out to explore EMA unless it is a shorter series like bepannah. these never ending serials just end up making the topic silly.
