I don't understand why Akshu is mot wildly hunting the proof she left behind because it matters more than this engagement. Why the CV's have made her forget this.
Proving Kairav innocent saves her brother's life and also resolves the trust issues between her and the Birlas minus maybe Anand's family. Whether she wants to save her marriage and Abhi comes around is the next question for later.
It's just really sad because it feels like Manjiri is using Akshara's basic nature subtly for her son and their family's benefit. If they really want to bring out Akshu 2.0 it should be her choosing to salvaging her own life and then other's, otherwise there is no meaning to anything. Ak and cvs forgot kv truth kept by ak. So her main motto after giving truth to abhi is only one thing ..her life with him. Either go pacify him or go in with flow like he does.
