Namibia showed that there's a mental aspect to the game as well.
Game 1 v SL- huge underdogs, no pressure whatsoever, they won
Game 3 v UAE- strong favs, lots of pressure, they crumbled.
Perhaps not surprising that the one Namibian who rose above it was Wiese- he has played for South Africa before. Any Tier 1 representative is generally a cut or two above the rest of the players at this level, and it showed.
Pity for him, but the game has small margins. That shot that Wiese got out to would have been a six on many other grounds- the bigger dimensions in Aus came into play. You could also say the two dots Trumpelmann played off Zahoor in the final two deliveries of the 19th over played a role (and one was a full toss that he missed).
Personally think SL would have wanted a Namibia win; being in the Asia group is probably easier for them than being in the Aus-Eng-NZ group on these wickets.
