I agree none of the new shows are working. This is the time for a change. Introduce limited episode shows. It should not have more than 150-200 episodes. So rather than abruptly ending the show there will be efficient storytelling with a tight script. Even the audiences will have their expectations set. Get a second season if it works.
I agree to it ...bring onn limited episodes wala serials.But the channels will not implement that.The web shows are totally taking on the ITV shows.Finite shows will always have tight scripts and with logical tracks and crisp storyline.That's the reason I love Pakistani shows ...they just have limited episodes.
I hope KV’s new show is something like this. It will be very difficult to compete with Anupama or even get trp at 10.30 slot. Anyway the show will be off air if trp is low. Toh pehle se hi bol do. As for the previous show being a flop, it still had 260 episodes which is good in my opinion. Maybe the performances here might be good compared to the other one.
I don't think KV's is a finite series bcoz no article has come up with this news of being finite series. If pitted against Anupama then show will have hard time.If it has low trp ...I really don't think the makers will give it time bcoz of the production cost as they have hired some expensive actors unlike the mithai team.The PH's previous show Teri meri ek jindri had only 228 episodes that too when Zee was doing great and Bahu Begum (which is from this PH,) mentioned in the article had only 134 episodes.This PH like AB doesn't have much good track record in terms of hit shows.Most of it's shows are flop especially the two Muslim background shows didn't even complete 150 episodes...they were embarrassingly flop.Bahu Begum had Samiksha who was a Zee star due to Mehak and Arijit in it.... still it flopped big time and the other Muslim background based show had Helly which ran less than Bahu Begum.
Normally from what i have seen is that the fl is finalized since most stories are female oriented but here now KV is there first. Which gives me some hope that his role will be an important one. Waise banda khush toh lag raha hai from his stories and reels. Baki toh show start hone ke baad pata chalega
In SAAKK also KV was selected first may be bcoz he is a very senior actor.Even in Sandip's show he selected his ML first.KV ne zaroor kuch dekha to sign it up ...but ITV gives a certain pic.when it starts and deviates completely from the base when trp sucks on channel pressure. Just what happened with Mithai...it was to have a comic feel ...but what did it turn out at last...everyone knows na!! Deba bhi bohot khush thi yeh show jab shuru hua tha...baad mein she might have prayed to get over with the show .And most importantly... LSD(Patreek Sharma's PH) is not DJ's .
