Writers will show that was her plan and then she actually started to like Neil. She will say so what someone cannot have goals? I want to be the best doctor so I work at Birla Hospital. I wanted to work my way to a position to be head of hospital.

Neil is high on love and thinks he can make Arohi see reason. While Arohi is playing understanding. Once married she may not dance to Neil's tunes anymore. And Neil isn't the type to file for divorce and even if he did she just wouldn't sign.

A big slap in the face is if Neil knew this and still accepted Arohi cause two lonely people who are not so anyones where their families "forget"/"neglect" them as they are more worried or invested in the elder sibling's life found common ground to fall in love.
