That’s called liberal privilege. It is scary to think what absolute fake news they spread and get away with it.

If at all the emails were forged, The Wire should be held accountable by all means but Meta is by no means the victim. Whistleblowers like Sophie Zhang and Frances Haugen (both former employees of Meta) had submitted solid proof in regards to Meta's murky policies and data breaches with Indian state elections, spread of hate speech and being pally with BJP MP's and turning a blind eye to their shenanigans. Zhang was a former data scientist who even submitted all the documents to the Lok Sabha via Shashi Tharoor which is still pending approval. Meta has close associates with BJP which deliberately censors posts against the govt and even promotes one sided hate posts and bumps them into priority by means of their algorithms. It's gullible to believe Meta is in the clear even with The Wire, it could be that they don't have substantial proof. It's not surprising that Meta wouldn't comment or issue statements when Zhang came out with the proof and they provided them with hush money and sign an NDA to make it go away. Don't remember any elaborate statements by any official heads in this regard. Meta is also complicit with promoting hate speech and violence in Myanmar and towards Rohingyas. Not surprisingly are they held accountable for the evil they had done.

It is not a secret that Meta increasingly works and supports the ruling party in India.

The day you start believing a big mega corp to be the Gospel of truth is the day you are completely brainwashed. 😆
