I was just thinking of the meaning of this separation track.. from my point of view both Basit and Ayesha had a very lame excuse for nibhaoying their marriage.. Basit didnât want his marriage to fail because of his trauma associated with divorce. Ayesha was saying she was with Basit due to the promise she made to Sadia. Both of these are not strong enough foundations for a happy marriage. So now if they want to make their marriage work, they have to come out of these excuses which they say to themselves and others and accept that they are in this marriage because they want to be. Hope this is what the separation will teach them.
on that note, why do you think Ayesha accepted the marriage proposal in the first place? The promise came much later. She thinks he had helped her and she helped him in a difficult situation? How can someone accept a commitment as major as marriage because someone helped financially?
