That should definitely happen. Season 10 contestants came twice in season 11 and Superstar Singer 1 contestants came too.

But there are still 14 contestants. I think it will be better when there are around 10 contestants. Availability will be a problem.

We can always expect Sony/TCT to manipulate eliminations to make sure that exactly 9 or 10 are around when the Idol12's are free again. Child's play for them. Worst comes to worst they can simply use last season's "no elimination" for weeks (whatever it was called) or elimination only via votes (although it never actually was that)!! 🤣

So both days are Diwali special?

It was called powerplay if I remember correctly😆

Sony/TCT can do anything. They had eliminated 5 contestants together in Indian Idol 11.

Come to think of it, isn't this rather strange? I couldn't think of one hit song about Diwali (if it wasn't hit I wouldn't know because I am not that good at knowledge about films).
