Okay, so I think think one of the ways in which Ayesha could be dropping hints is by changing her night attire. We know that Sadia got Ayesha’s entire wedding trousseau designed and I believe she must have also ordered some night gowns both innocent and racy, which I believe Ayesha was uncomfortable with keeping in mind her relationship with Basit.

However, if she wanted him to initiate something, she would probably start with wearing one of the innocently sexy nightgowns, which aren’t too revealing but at the same time are a huge upgrade from her regular night attire. What do you think Basit’s reaction would be on seeing Ayesha in one of her new night dresses? Would he compliment her, would he catch a hint of what she wants or would he be oblivious to it all and innocently wonder about what she’s wearing? 😉

Oh my goodness!!! Remember the beginning of ep 13 where Basit is in the room with Ayesha at night and he cannot stop looking at Ayesha!? Now imagine if Ayesha is wearing something slinky! He would possibly go all red with smoke coming out of his ears! But I can also imagine Basit himself asking her to wear something once they have known each other in the Biblical sense! 😆 But yesss!!! Ayesha trying to tell him that she is ready through her choice of clothes would be such a cute thing to watch because both of them are so shy around each other!

Now Basit thinks Ayesha is cute, we have seen that already. That scene in the car when they were returning from Ayesha's mum's. Or when he found her reading that book on the couch. But he also had that intense hungry (for the lack of a better word!) look in ep 13 when he had turned off the light and was just looking at Ayesha lying there with her back to her. So I think what has been stopping him is the thought that she might not be willing or that by coming close to her he will give her false hopes. But now I guess, he will think that he needs to demonstrate his desire for her as part of the process of convincing her of his commitment to her. I am very eager to see how he does that because I myself am hitting a wall in this matter. In Habs so far the progress of their emotions towards each other has been built up so slowly and so logically that I am hoping the show will continue in this way. But then how will Basit make that leap from polite interest to izhar-e-mohabbat?!

Same here! I also thought someone must have shared it. Today went through the thread and realised none of us had.

I was thinking had the show balanced AyeT's estrangement with some development in Fahad and Bano's relationship, the fandom would not have been feeling this distraught. 😒

Also I think there will be a scene where Basit and Ayesha have a conversation by the pool with their feet in the water. A part of that rose petal strewn pool scene.

Absolutely right! The show just started focusing on a lot of negatives instead of balancing it with positives. For instance, Zoya, her in laws, Qudsia and Soha- none of these characters leave you with feeling content. Whereas Bano and Fahad are such positive characters and so much could have been done with them.

As for the pool scene, I am really excited for it!! ☺️ I hope we get to see full blown romance in that sequence. I thought the rose petals in the pool were just for show but I hope you’re right. What other things do you reckon Basit will do in order to woo Ayesha? ❤️
