Difference between them

Amba is shrewd and manipulative whereas Vidhi is naive and innocent.

Amba is older Vidhi is younger

Iss vishya pe Zara prakash daale why Amba is ignored by Dev and Vidhi is attracting him?

She may be shrewd and manipulative but doesn't seem like a bad person, treats his family nicely, loves him to bits, and even quite similar to him- confident, smart, successful and ever very responsible and devoted towards her family. Then what was the problem? Or what is the problem? How come he never felt anything for her.

First I thought maybe her craziness or obsession might have scared him but Vidhi bhi kuch kam pagal nahi hai🤣

I honestly think they do have a backstory and he told her her never promised her anything or never loved her - now, 15 years later. Perhaps that’s why he never committed but I don’t think they don’t have any story seeing as to how he talks to her.

I was thinking there’s something along the lines of immandari. The way he got irked before when he thought Vidhi turned out to be non immandar and emphasized it so much has me believing he’s been hurt in the past in some ways.

Yup!! There does seem to be some more story because of the way they talk to each other. It does seem like they knew each other quite well. Probably they were dating or something but later something happened that might have hurt Dev.

@bold- maine aise socha nahi tha. But now that you mention it, seems quite possible. The way he keeps telling Vidhi that you have to earn respect and that comes from education and all. Seems like he himself struggled quite a lot.

I do hope they give some good backstory to them otherwise it seems a bit weird that he didn't fall for Amba but is falling for Vidhi so easily

Why on earth should Dev be asked whether the engagement should go ahead? And one yes from him, and all those silly conditions are okay for HP? At this moment, HP is respecting and asking for Dev's opinion as if the latter is his own father! 🤪

Yes, Dev will sort it out in the end, but it's a bit illogical to watch. Vidhi did mention that her parents feel reassured when he is around, but phir bhi hazam nahi hota! 🤡

At least Vidhi is angry with herself for telling Dev that she will marry the NRI for Dev 😃

Vidhi gets more and more brazen, today open asking "Sir, kya hai meri jagah" when he says no one can taker her place and "aap sirf mujhe office mein miss karenge kya" 😆

I think he finds Amba very controlling per his outrage w her at the party. He feels she does everything the way she wants. With Vidhi, she so far isn’t forcing herself on him. She’s told him her feelings and left it up to him to decide - whether he wants to or not pursue her it’s up to him. Whereas Amba just forces herself on to him. She def does care abt him but he feels it’s all for her benefit whereas he finds Vidhi similar I think - they both do things out of good intentions for others, not bc they want something from it in return.

At this point, Vidhi does not seem worried. It’s like she knows shaadi toh nahi hogi. Lekin ho gayi toh? If she loves him that much so as to walk without chappal to office, how is she letting it happen?
I’m going to slide away and just watch and enjoy bc Im realizing I’m asking a lot of logical qs for an itv show 😆
