If you look at the KTK playlist on ARY you will understand that every single Episode has a minimum of 27 M views (ofcourse keep the latest week aside and its a double episode on top of that). Most of them have already touched and crossed 30 M while others are on their way to and may take some more time like a month or two till the show is on air.

MH was a 40 episode drama. thats the edge it has over KTK here in this topic of discussion. Even that touched 1 billion views only at the airing of 40th epi. It would usually clock around 20 21 M in a week. While KTK does like 25M. But MH has entered the billion view club because of the number of episodes. MH during its peak has quite a few episodes that are around 30 M. But otherwise its all mid mid twenties or early twenties. KTK's every episode is above 27M.

So to answer your question.. KTK though has nearly 30 M views.. which is far more than what MH has.. it all depends on the number of episodes this drama is gonna have. Which is why i ask you this. It should have a minimum of 30 episodes. Even that will not help reach the target. A little over 30 episodes can only make it reach the 1 billion club. (30 epi x 30 M views would touch 900.. so it needs a few more epis, i know first epi has 50 M.. but still just to give you a picture im saying it like that what can guarantee the show that position)

Also, a show like KTK will see it getting views only till the time the show is on air. Its not the type that has repeat value or good word of mouth which will keep ensuring that views will increase even after the show goes off air.. like a parizaad or suno chanda, meray pass tum ho, etc. Only the first episode keeps increasing till some extent for every show. The rest of the episodes pretty much stay around the same number.

One more thing is, if you look at a drama like MH.. it was on air for 9 months.. the longer its on air.. the more the views keep coming for even the older episodes..

Now look at the double epi that aired this week..

Its actually done so well for a double epi infact even other wise.. one epi has hit 22 and the other one is hitting 23 all in a week.. but if it were single epi.. it would each hit 25 M and it would have the time to cover more till the next epi goes on air and the total airing time doesn't get shortened.. now all this im saying cuz it affects whether it will make it to the billion club or not.. cuz it gonna be so near to it.. but all these small factors only will determine whether it can or it cannot..
