This should be Neelima's fight, not Pushpa's. The person enduring the pain needs to get a chance to deal with the situation, because otherwise there is no respite. Baaki sab ne na wo dekha hai, na suna hai na hi samajh sakte hai to that level that the survivor does. I think maybe it will be Neelima who kills him in self-defence and Pushpa helps her cover/hide the body. Then they can have the narrative of how it is not always possible to wait for justice to be delivered, sometimes you take justice in your hands and kill the Mahisasur, but then walk the thin line between morality and illegality. In court they can determine that this is not something to be punished severely as this was a DV case.

@bold;

That doesn't make any sense cause the cops were ready to help Neelima in ep 75 itself , she was the one wko decided to cover up her husband deeds and not seek help from the cops....ik in many shows they have a situation where "it's not possible to wait for the justice to be delivered " and it's justified in most of the shows , but it will be hypocritical if they do it over here , also it will send the wrong message that murder is okay sometimes....i just hope Ramesh is injured and he will be arrested for the crap he did to Neelima.....

Thank you for providing more insight, had forgotten about Neelima protecting him from police last month. I merely presented a plausible theory that can be negated with the plot logic. I agree with you on the stance that in the context of the show this is not the best direction to go, and hopefully he is injured and jailed for domestic violence. However, the general assumption that you presented about someone hurting/killing the other in self-defence sending a wrong message that murder is okay? Nope.

Culpable Homicide is recognised in our Indian Penal Code as being seperate from murder and there are survivors who have been suffering to the extent where they resort to means that unintentionally end up seriously injuring the other/taking a life ~ Right to Private Defence. Depends on the situation. None of those cases glorify murder, and neither do any shows/movies/ documentaries that speak on it showcase that its okay to kill someone. I rest my case.

We agree it is unneccessary in the show 👍

In real life, neither of us are the right judges on this unless we are party to it.

Uh-oh looks like i mixed up my points and posted it , what i actually meant was ;

Neelima should've called the police

She should try to defend herself

I never meant that murder due to self defence is wrong.....like you mentioned it was Neelima's fight, if her character kills Ramesh on an act of self defence it's well and good cause these abusers would get out of prison in some years and maybe try to exact revenge....when i said murder was wrong what i meant was Pushpa murdering Ramesh would be wrong....i don't want the writers to take this route just to generate shock value....i don't want them to unnecessarily making Pushpa a Mahaan by surrendering for Neelima's crimes as her own ( if that happens) i want this track to end sensibly....i hope the promo was misleading and the makers manage to subvert audience expectations and manage to pull off something which is unique....

@Bold;

Agreed....this is one issue where the person who has never experienced it is not the right one to pass judgements....
