How much of celeb social work is real?

Is it true Rajinikanth has donated 50% of his earnings to charity and his property will be donated to charity?

Are these things real or PR? Image building exercises?

Do celebs indeed do social work or endorse causes genuinely or is it mostly fake or image makeover exercise?

Are the celeb NGOs like Mir Foundation, Being Human, Paani Foundation, Live Love Laugh Foundation etc audited regularly? Have they actually helped people and accounted for each paisa donated to them? Does proceedings of each product sold by Being Human go to charity?

How many celebs indeed do lot of social work, charity, philanthropy for real and under the radar, not just for cameras?

I remember Bachchans had announced a college in name of Ash at Barabanki after the land grab controversy. 2007 till date, there is no college there and land is still Bachchans' despite legal issues. Was it not, for eg, a fake show of philanthropy and social work to cover up illegal land grab? Aamir also began taking issues in films, ads, or started SMJ etc only after controversies on his personal life, divorce and that Hines affair. Being Human was started after Salman's run ins with law. Is celeb social work even real or mostly a business or PR exercise or often meant to get political mileage?

Are these initiatives by say, Azmi, Akhtar, Dia Mirza, PC, Navya Nanda on environment, gender, menstrual hygiene etc genuine? Like for eg, what is Farhan's MARD initiative doing now?

I heard Rajinikanth launched Rajinikanth Foundation which provides coaching to marginalised students for govt exams. Has any Bolly celeb done something tangible like it?

Asha Parekh and Mangeshkars started hospitals. Anything else, tangible that BW stars have done?

Are their work indeed for marginalised or business? Like hospitals offer affordable treatment or are big business?
