That's great but point is why they highlighted criminal like junaid then. If it was based on women empowerment, why criminal redemption topic got more attention..

They had a star and they needed to give him a strong role.. this is also important to attrackt audience. It is fine.. in dramas many issues get highlighted.. and I like it when a drama has more than one track. Junaid's redemption was important to show that criminals can change for good. That you can't escape guilt if you do a crime. It is in human's nature.

IMO Junaid just didn't change for criminal to a goody goody boy, he changed because he fell for Zoya. He never changed before when they kidnapped several girls so his redemption was not like he realized his ill doings and changed.

If Junaid had actually changed, he wouldn't have only cared about what happened to Zoya.. He fell for her hence his so called redemption. if he actually realized how his act ruined the lives of many girls, he would have actually made an effort to find out what became of them and if he could help make their lives better.. He wouldn't be thinking about sharing his "saza" with Zoya but focusing on how he can make a difference to the lives of all the women he ruined. Zoya wasn't the only girl he ruined.. there were many.. Did he for once think what he can do for them or what became of them? No! then his redemption is meaningless

I think he changed after watching Zoya's mom and aunt on mobile.. they were requesting him to return Zoya.. he saw their poor house and sympathised with them. He wasn't in love with Zoya then. He saved her from his friends.. which show that the seed of kindness and redemption was there in his heart . The problems which happened later and the death of phuppo made him realized his crime, he started feeling for Zoya much later.

Props to the team! It's so incredibly rare that in a drama like this the girl would not end up choosing the guy. Hats off to the writers.

She told him “no” over and over again but he never listened to her. He was a nice guy but she didn’t like him and she was honest about it, but he kept ignoring her wishes. I don’t think she would be happy with him also because of his mother and never getting respect from her.

He can't go to all those girls asking for forgiveness and trying to recorrect his wrong doings like what Ranbir did in Bachna Ae Haseeno. It is illogical. He realized the graveness of his crimes.. he cared about money only.. he didn't think of the badnami and shame he caused those girls. Society treats females different than males.. if the kidnapped person was a boy, none can point a finger at him.. but girls 😒

Totally agree. Arsal deserves this for forcing himself on a girl who doesn't love him . He benfitted from her majboori, and not being able to say no to her mom. Finally Zoya found an execuse and dumbed him.😆
