It's raining "Metaphors"

Before I move on the the metaphors, just picking up on the 3 major scenes from today.

1. @Msin...really. Kahaan the Pulkit Jiju kahaan the? Finally one genuine and constant Sai supporter. I was really hoping she finds one person to keep her trust in judging people. Most of them have betrayed her. Pulkit didn’t question her actions. He was just happy that she is alive. That is true love for someone. Death is too consequential to let any negative feelings come in its way. And here is where we can see the difference in Ashwini and Pulkit's love for Sai. Pulkit didn't hold her up for anything, even if he didn't agree to some of her actions. Because he was just thankful to see her alive. And that is the most important thing. Unlike Ashwini, who could hate her to be alive. No mother who lover her child, can be so heartless and not show even a sign of happiness that her so called "daughter" is alive.

The whole convo was sweet. They are back to being themselves. Pulkit did hint on V-P's reality, but didn't push it on Sai. He is leaving it to Sai. But I guess, he also felt that at this point it could aggravate Sai, since emotions are running high. Most important, he just accpeted "Savi"! Meri beti hai. Kab milva rahi ho use apne Pulkit Mamu say. As simple. He seems to be stepping to Samrat's role now and guess will play from her side against V.

2. Jewellery shop scene was again similar to yesterday's car scene. Focus was Sai-V. V's actions were only to make Sai jealous. And P could clearly see it. Though what I'm trying to decipher here is P. With everyone around her cautioning her, is she trying to get reassurances or like Sai said, enjoying the revenge on Sai. P has always had complex issues with Sai. Like she is reading feelings behind V's words, she was also reading Sai's plight behind it. She knows both are trying to run away from each other. But their feelings for each other are too strong

Looks like the receipt of the ring she sold has slipped away and V will question P about it. P will reveal her conversation and phone call and this will further irk V and he will make another move towards P. If she is not hoping, he is tempting her.

3. Ashwini is back to doing what she has been doing all along. Pushing her son into a relationship. Earlier it was Sai, now it is P. How can this woman even claim to have loved Sai. I want her to plead the way she did with V to make her call her Aai. And Sai should strictly stick to Mrs Chavan or at the most aunty. She is not worthy of being called Aai by Sai.

Now to metaphors

We have spoken about the ring signifying Sai-V's love. Sai selling the ring maybe to get money, but it was to show Sai's attempt at moving away from the love she had kept close to her heart. With V married to P, she wants to let go of her love for him. Sai leaving V means P is the obvious recipient of it. So she gets the ring. It is P's dilemma whether she can keep it or give it back to Sai. This was her looking at the ring and her finger. @ Sadhika - they didn't reveal her thoughts here. P2 hiding behind P1 again?

Savi is trying to grow plants. Sai sees the ring mark. Again, the love is so deep rooted, that even if she tries to remove it, the marks of it will stay. She is coloured/tainted in love. With or without him, remnants of their love will stay in her.

P returns the ring back to her. Seems like P will be the one to return V back to Sai. P will pave way for Sai-V union.

@Sadhika - We spoke about love and trust yesterday. I don't like this aspect, but seems like for V to prove his love and Sai to trust him, P will have to out a stamp on it. V has tried to convince Sai of his love, but sometimes his words fell short and on other occasions his actions were not supporting his claims. So more than V's words, Sai trusted P's ability to manipulate. For her to trust V, P will have to come clean and say that to her. V saying it will not be enough!

Sai buries the ring/her love....just next to Savi's plants. She will be watering the plants/ring to make them grow into trees/love. Through these plants she is on a search to find her father, and they are going to nurture that ring/love under their shade. So Savi will be the force to revive the love Sai has buried in the soil today.

This plant and ring will have a significance in truth revelations. My only point is for Savi to write on these plants after they become trees will be while. How long are we waiting?

My man Pulkit is back 🥳and how!!!! He is everything that I had expected him to be.

Ash-V have the one organ talk. About the presence of Sai.. kashmakash in their lives and all that. V says for the longest time I did not give any rights to P as a wife. Not this time.

Although it looks like he is 'moving on' with P... even might go a lot of steps ahead (I will really hate him if does that, probably will stop watching as well) the way it was delivered seemed contrary... (it might still happen if there is a fake pregnancy planned for future.. i won't be surprised if aisa kuch dikhaye😔)

That is the only aspect left. And if he does take that step, on what grounds will he be seeking Sai's love? Just because P dies not she set's him free, or he realises she cheated him? Neither of these reasons justify him asking for apology and Sai to return to him. Nope! That's like handing Sai back "junk" like she called the ring today. Why should she even take it?

Like he said he didn't give haq to P...

But he was happy with the status quo... of keeping Sai/his fitoor in his mind and just be a companion to P...over the years he would have softened too... but this sudden push to do it and haste is all because he wants to prove a point to Sai and to himself that he is capable of forgetting Sai.

He used the word "guilt" today. So all that he held himself responsible was Sai's death. Now that she is alive, he is guilt free. None of his actions are in his radar for introspection.

Jewelry shop scene happens.

V has taken P for shopping for anniversary. Is present there but not inclined. Sai arrives. He sees her selling the ring. Phir bhi iski batti nahi jali ki why is Sai holding on to that ring Tera kuch nahi ho sakta V.

Sai is sad but nonchalant.

To prove a point to her, V selects a necklace and puts it around P. P has not seen Sai till now but has noticed the sudden flip in V. Sees Sai in mirror then and realizes kya hua. V has put the necklace around P but his attention is all on Sai.

To all those watching... don't go by words VC says today... his mannerisms are completely opposite. He doesn't mean what he says... not even the 'best biwi'. 😆

Yup. Funny how he was saying things for P, but was looking at V. Like you said, words were dialogues meant to hurt Sai, they held no real meaning to him.

But all that he is doing now, he will have to dig his nose in the sand to undo.

P asks the shopkeeper what did Sai sell. V sees her.

Sai is at home. Saavi is gardening so that they grow into trees and Saavi can write message.. has continued the Baba jaap. I thought Saavi had promised Sai. But kids... bhul jaate hai. 😔

Sai sees the ring mark. Rubs it to make it vanish.

P later comes to Sai ka Ghar. They talk in private. She has bought back the ring and wants to give it to Sai as this is special and V ne bahot pyaar se use dii thi...

Sai is angry and yet in a controlled manner tells P that the ring has no significance. Have no use for it now. I throw stuff away or give it someone when I don't need it. Asks P if you will buy all this again and return it to me. Sai almost implies the 'paise ka dhaus'. Sai is constantly comparing the ring to practical everyday use objects like TV, furniture, utensils, ignoring the emotional connect.

P is confusing. Supremely 'pojitib' version of hers. Only wants to return the ring because it was important for Sai and V 😲

Sai calls it Bhangar/junk.

The last gulp and pause before calling it junk is nicely done by Ayesha. Sai even though is saying all this, her heart is breaking. She sold the ring in need not because she doesn't have feelings. But having it back is bringing the emotions associated with it to forefront.

P leaves by keeping the ring there.

Sai was angry, and all her dialogues like P's were indirects. All that she said was for V and their relationship. And P could easily catch the vibrations. Sai was somewhere venting out her frustration today, and P could see that pain in Sai's anger. Till now it was indifference, but today in was hurt.

Sai buries the ring near Saavi' plants. Breakdown.

P reaches home and receives an audio from Sai. Repeats the same dialogues. That it doesn't matter. I have given up. Please don't interfere in my personal matters. Let it go... I have moved ahead from that etc etc.

P/Aish needs more training. She looks confused all through out.

One is for the life of me, I cannot imagine a positive P other than a covid positive P. 😆

Secondly, she looks genuine when she is bringing the Sai back for Sai. There is no ulterior motive. The actress doesn't have the ability to pretend to be good but is low key vile. That range is not with her. So in all probability she is positive and reformed P right now. Atleast in today's episode.

My new interpretation is it is this P who is hell bent on proving to Sai ki main tumhari baat nahi sunungi... I will do whatever I want.

Edit: for P V was conquest. Now that V is hers, the thrill has gone. Sai ke aane se that spunk is back. She wants to prove something... to see and to herself.

It makes me feel, The initial assessment was right. V doesn't matter to her. It is Sai who matters. P is obsessed with Sai 🤣

P is confusing me. The actress is bad, and somewhere helping the makers to keep suspense alive with poor acting🤣 Humara hi dimag ghoom raha hai bandi chahti kya hai. I too can't see her positive. It's not in her.

I have been saying it for the longest time. P has always had inferiority complex with Sai and she is constantly contesting with her.

Pulkit my man is back. I was so missing him and he is back and he is back as he was...

I have mixed the time lines here because I wanted a special paragraph for Pulkit.

If V is the most butchered character... Pulkit is the most consistent character.

Sees her, stops the car. Jeeju now has a driver. Bada aadami ban gaya 😊

Sai is happy but feels that maybe he too is upset with her. Calls him Jeeju then Sir. He offers lift. She denies.

And here's where Pulkit scores. V hota to chala jaata...😆

Pulkit gets down from the car. Starts walking with her. They talk about why Sai didn't call. And that nothing changes their equation. Sai shouldn't forget that she has a brother who loves her still and misses her. As a big brother I wish I could slap you to put some sense into you.

Sai feels apologetic but is happy. They share an auto and convo continues.

He asks how does it feel to be back?

Sai replies a lot has changed. Pulkit is once again her anchor and her counter view. About V-P equation, cryptically hints that nothing is as it seems. This is what he has been telling her always. Her guide and mentor. 👍🏼

They talk about Harini. Pulkit tells her Harini is just like you, asks right questions but doesn't have answers. Has the same problems of youth of this generation.

Sai ka next project is ready 😆

Pulkit says betiyon ko sambhalna is mushkil. Sai agrees. Tells him I have a daughter too. Pulkit wants to meet her. I hope Sai nahi to Pulkit ki batti jalegi and he will realise ki Saavi is V ki beti. 😳

Loved the convo. It brought back the warmth that was missing in the show. Sai hasn't lost all her supporters. And as I always say CN house ke micro climate main hi problem hai. And unke khoon main. Anyone is not fully Chavan and who stays outside is saner. Even V when he is in GC and Kankavli and not consumed by his anger.

That is the best part. Like you said, apart from the kids, it was only today that there was something good, pure. love

Anyways, I decided to not analyze anything anymore. Virat used to be an interesting character to me, so I usually put my thoughts on him because most people dont see his PoV. I have given up now, because he is not consistent. I cannot predict his actions based on his previous actions. Then why to invest in him?. Really it is from surrogacy, they made him like a furniture in the plot. It is sad. So I will just point out the things I liked the most. Not storywise but episode level and acting.

1. Ashwini and Virat's talk showed how they are both lying to each other. They know everything is not normal. Nothing is going to be the same. But still consoling each other everything will be fine. They are convincing each other with lies and the other knew it too. Good acting finally by Ashwini actress.

2. Virat, I have been hoping that he would not make Sai jealous intentionally but he did!!! Not in my distant dreams I imagined him like this. He is supposed to be mature, think about others. He used Pakhi mercilessly for his child, I could not forgive him for that yet. Now he is using her to make sai jealous. However, Neil was superb in the scene where he asks the shopkeeper "may I" to make Pakhi wear the necklace. He was troubled, he is doing wrong. He is angry and he is helpless. He wants to hurt Sai badly. By calling the same woman who destroyed their life "the best". Didnt he say during her arrest that he hates her and doesnt bother if she dies?!

He knows what he is doing. His conscience is hurting...still he did it. Just observe Neil's throat and eyes. The clench in his adam's apple and anger in his eyes.. is well emoted. The entire scene where he looks at Sai, is also well done.

3. Pakhi is surprised! This must be the first time in years he spoke to her or spent time with her. She is uncomfortable. He didnt even pay attention to her. Neither did she take this moment seriously. She went to check on the ring.

4. Ayesha was faboulous today in Sai-Pakhi confrontation. Denying Virat's place in her life, just like she denied the ring is awesomely potrayed. I liked how she was choking on her words yet put up the strong face in front of her wrongdoer. the message to her was savage. Just because you are showing up as mahan doesnt negate your crimes. Wow!! I am glad she doesnt forget anything. 👏.

5. I m seriously at loss to understand Pakhi today. They are keeping her low key. She did not give any importance to jewelry shop visit. She knows it is fake. But she is intrigued with Sai. She wants to know whether Sai really has no feelings for the ring/Virat.

The last look before precap did seem like she triggered into P2 mode. Though I have no hopes on that theory. P1 or P2, marriage happened and Virat acknowledged it today. WoW. So... I dont know what she will be made tomorrow. It is utterly disgusting if she is still negative after all that happened, and Virat again fell for her!! What kind of an ML is he?

PS: I washed my hands off Virat today. I dont have any expectations on him. I remembered Nitu today. She left before seeing this Virat. Good for her 🥺

It’s nice to see your tag . I login to IF once in a while and haven’t been really following the show but I do read IF spoiler articles when I come online to get a basic idea about the plot and a quick glance on Cheeku and Fats post in the PF and trust me I never felt like watching the show again . There is no coming back for me as I haven’t reached that indifference state where any nonsense can be digested . I watched this show only for Virat and he was my favorite character among all the shows I have watched so far but never imagined his character would turn out in such a way that I had to stop watching the show for this one character .

I might not be familiar with recent happenings but looking at your post I can imagine how disappointed you must have felt to write this way about Virat . I feel sorry for all the folks who once loved this character. I would say expecting anything good to happen in the show is waste of time . They have made up their mind to portray characters in a certain way and they won’t change their thought process .

The only complaint I have from makers is .. I have watched many shows in the past with same emotional attachment and have been disappointed at many levels and stages but I can still go back and view my once favorite clips and relive the memories. I cannot say the same about ghum . It pains me every time I watch old scenes because it reminds me of the current Virat . The show only left bad memories in my mind .👎🏼

One more thing, the ring was buried in same place where savi planted the seedling. What if along with the truth revelation, the buried feelings too would come alive? If we see things from legal & religious pov, Sai is still the only one who is haqdaar of Virat (how much ever destroyed he is 😢). The ring being with her till date can't be taken as a casual thing . I connected the plant & ring part bcoz, when a seed sprouts, it brings hope, new life, energy with it & green is a symbol of prosperity. It can be connected with relationships too ♥️.
