Where he went ? The answer can be - He went MIA because bhavani never loved him genuinely . Her love was so superficial and all she cared about is his money. So went to some unknown place and started his new life as a professor . There he met the true love of his love ,his soulmate ,his childhood friend whom he dated secretly but couldn't marry . She has taken an oath to never marry. After witnessing her true and genuine love for him,naga kaka married her and has sent divorce letter to bhavani.
