We are all functioning on mutual admiration and uplifting here ❤️ Each one has their day so someone needs to be up for the rest. I'm not in the least positive, but guess the mini vacation and break from ghum helped me detox from it though🤣

So let me give a perspective. Don't hold me up on it, because I can flip anytime. Itni positivity mere bas ki nahi hai...on a constant level. So I will have my days too.

I know it is difficult, but if we watch this with the same emotions as when we started off, it will make it a lil more bearable. I know it is easier said than done.

If we really start off from the stage nothing has changed. On the surface it seems that the roles have switched. Sai is love and P is wife. But is that really true? There is a suspense around that still. So this perspective is based around the same assumption, that Sai-V marriage is still valid and hence P-V marriage is invalid. Now let us relook at it with these dynamics

So what is same and what has changed.

Sai-V were in a marriage they never wanted. Sai was aware of her relationship status with V, but didn’t exercised her rights as V's wife due to V-P equation..the deal nature of her marriage. Today, she is unaware that the marriage still binds her, rather she refuses to accept it because V married P. Hence she refuses to claim any rights as a wife. Both stages she has the right, but she will not claim them.

V was not inclined towards Sai but accepted her as his wife. However he wasn't even looking at a future with P. He had accepted her as his past. Today he knows Sai is his wife, but refuses to acknowledge it. And he is not looking at a future with P, he is actually running away from Sai..from another heartbreak.

P was not vile, she was only a woman who had lost her love. She was put in a situation where she had to watch her love married to another woman and falling in love with her. Today, again P's marriage status is not real. Sai is the real wife. P will have to see her love married to another woman and deeply in love with her.

V will continue his emotional infidelity with P. Crying out his heart to her, sharing his pain, making promises he can never keep.

The family only accepted P's status as DIL, Sai had to fight her way to be accepted for her status in the family as V's wife despite being married to him. And on the way she won over a few people.

Pretty much the same so far?

So what has changed? We now have a prologue. A history with a baggage. The characters have evolved, and they have grown on us and the attachments have been built. For example, we did not know that P had an evil side to her when the show started. Maybe she had, but we never knew, but now we know.

It will get triggering to watch with this baggage, and perspective. The situations that will be created on the surface will appear as V-P being married and V forcefully trying to move on with P. This is a parallel to his his emotional infidelity during early marriage days. His support for P and arguments with Sai will continue, but the arguments will be rising from the anger and MU that runs between them through this "Prologue" baggage. The anger is rising from his love for Sai. He was wrong then and he is wrong now. The impact of his actions has increased manifold.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the scene from today's episode where Sai saw V-P hugging. If we see on the surface, it looks like V-P are married, V is moving on and Sai is now the other woman. But is that true? If we look at it from a different perspective it is a recreation of the balcony scene from their wedding night, when Sai overhears, V-P conversation. The conversation and hug as an action may be different, but here they are mere means to make Sai have a certain picture around V-P equation. Similarly all scenes will be recreated, and they will be much worse than what we have seen. It is only be a downhill trip for a while now. Where seemingly P will be having an upper hand as she replaced Sai. But while they will be giving a different impression at glance, if we keep this fact clear that Sai is actually the wife, we may probably see a different side to these scenes.

Don't hold me up on this. Like I said, I may be pulling my hair after the next episode. But probably this outlook can help in keeping each other saner and if one misses the other can read through this perspective and give a positive angle to it...We definitely need it in ghum...at least for a while 😉

True we all r hoping for this. Let's see. Since 2 kids r involved there s hope.

Anyways with Shruti also he did few things even when she was someone else s wife and he had not even met her before.

We can watch for the 2 kids and Sai and ignore ML till he sides with Sai.

After he did the delivery, nothing much to expect from makers. He would have done Shruti s delivery also if given a choice. He was not going for Sais college function till some nurse forced him to go.

But some inner love for Sairat and kids make us want their happy family.

Now trp s on their side, they can show what they want.

Everybody s version here gives a nice and different perspective.

Thanks for this post Sherry. The parallel thing is perfectly penned down. Here the progress or domesticity we are seeing is because they have shown VP married. Sometimes it's ok.. n other time unpalatable.

Agreed. Also, saw you after a long time but yes, a small break can change the perspective on how you look at Ghum. I toh just haven't lost hope yet. I mean things have not gone downhill from where it cannot recover.

Also, Siya, it is itv. where situations are based on numbers and not emotions and it is a well-established fact that Sairat together gets numbers. You know it right? Let's hope that not emotions but numbers puts a leash on their drastic dramatic thoughts
