the movie will do extremely well, it will go past brahmastra, it is based on a classic story so foundation will be strong and mani is experienced and balanced enough that he will carry it through, i expect it to be much better than brahmastra just based on the solid story and characters and acting will hence be superior, all experineced actors

unfrotunately, hindi they did not publicise it as much or it could hav done better there, maybe it will pick up after good wom

Can't agree in the exact figure but it's a no-brainer that PS1 will do extremely well. The star cast aside, the movie is based on a rooted piece of literature with proper world building.

I cant wait for some Brahmastra fans to cry, they couldn't shut up about that flop of a movie. Back to oblivion they go.

Baahubali was a game changer for Indian films, 1. because you could realease movies in 2 parts and 2. historicals and mythologicals are a big hit so producers are willing to invest . PS was planned from MGR days but couldnt take off, even Mani said BB gave them the idea that they could do in 2 parts, also budget could be generated

But as @detached numb said PS will take off from that momentum build on a solid story, world etc which is its own which is why it will stand ( hope so!)

Why will anybody cry? Brahmastra did well for itself. It looks like PS1 is going to do well too
