Angry and badly disappointed after today's episode - Page 2

Though we are all disappointed that it wasn't Dev who asked her out but now I feel It did go well with his character. He wouldn't ask her just like that to come for a coffee even if he wanted to. I mean after his "yeh kuch aur hai" moment he might not want to dwell much on his feelings and if he did he might feel it would be wrong for him to ask her for coffee with such feelings in his heart.

I guess for sometime it will be like this. Vidhi only will have to take the initiative until they are in a relationship. He wouldn't do much on his own because he may feel its morally wrong for him to even feel romantically for such a young girl.

Another thing I just felt, he behaves quite differently when they are around people to when its just the two if them. With only two of them he treats her more like a friend, casually talking to her, laughing, pulling her leg, making fun of her etc. He even calls her Vidhi but when around people he mostly sticks to Miss Vidhi. Even in the game scene he is quite formal and doesn't even talk to her much. As if she is just another employee. But later when going back he couldn't stop himself but go to her and talk😆 and happily took her offer which he couldn't have asked himself.

Probably what he has for Vidhi is very personal to him and ge doesn't share it with anyone. Ex he never told anything about Khau gali to anyone not even his family, even in Navratri bts he looked slightly upset that his family knew about his small outing 😆

Sorry for my rant. I wanted to keep it short but lamba hogaya post 😆 do tell me if you find something good in the scene. Would love to read your take❤️

Dev really didn't have to come to her. He was talking on phone and could have just walked away but when he saw her he cut his call and asked her haal chaal😆 and when she asked about coffee he seemed happy about it and even asked her sweetly agar tumhari morning evening hogai ho toh hum abhi jaa sakte hain....chalogi? matlab he did ask her out ❤️ and when he did his palat and gestured her to come with a smile, he looked so happy ❤️

I also watched his accidental date with Amba after this🤣🤣 and gosh the guy looks so uncomfortable 🤣 ready to run away at the first instance he gets🤪 when Amba asks him whether he has a problem eating alone with her, he gives a forceful smile and says no but as soon as she turns his expressions are like kahan phas gaya main😆 and during the whole time he sees his watch, here and there😆

I guess thats how he is, if he doesn't like something its clearly visible in his body language. In contrast he looked quite happy with Vidhi's offer. He could have refused or even postponed but he seemed eager to go❤️

Just wanted to rant this out. I liked this part a lot😆

There was another time when the baba was like "yeh ladki toofan laigi" and he was like "aur kitna toofan laogi" but in a totally subtle way. He pointed to his stomach after but i dont think he meant his stomach all together 🤣

You are ON point w body language! When he cant stand something and doesnt even want to speak or talk abt his feelings, he just RUNS from there 😆 like w Amba. Amba even said it, "aur kitna bhago ge Dev?"

I rewatched the scene Kanika scene again and it is SO confusing. The way he looks twice in Vidhis direction on the side.makes me think he was thinking of her. When Arjun said Kanika, he didnt look happy or pleased but just went with it...bc in one of the episodes before Vidhi found out Amba is not the wife, he told her to keep an eye out for anyone gossiping abt him and goes "you know everything that happens in the office right?" so "use sabki khabar hoti hain" i think was for Vidhi.

Also, I feel like if anything Dev might be embarrassed to express his feelings bc he does care A LOT abt how people perceive him and maybe its gonna be embarrassing for him in the future to admit that he did in fact fell for a girl more than half his age.

and as you said he is no way gonna intiate ny date himself for moral reasons but him asking Chalogi was just indirect way of proving he wants to spend time with her...

and yes Vidhi n Ms Vidhi ka difference bhi significant hai.. i completely agree what he feels for her he wants to keep it just between them.. as if she is his treasure, the emotions he feels being with her is so precious to him.. he doesnt want the world to know... you observed it so so well.

He's into keeping secrets a lot so might not have liked that "their secret" is out and now he has to explain or act. Also the way he cares abt what people think of him too, he's very much the type of guy who likes to be in control of what people say and think abt him so now that his family knows, that might not go so well w him.

completely agree about "yah kuch aur hai" being a rhetorical question...

and i appreciate that it happened at least.. that Dev concluded yes its not just office superior ka support for junior and certainly something else...

but what i found lacking was the emotional connect audience has in such moment with the character on screen... its not ke character ko samajh aa gaya and we should move to next scene...no.

its more abt viewers than the character.. viewers want to know, feel, understand what the character is feeling or concluded and for that we need time but the duration "ye kuch aur hai" got was hardly 10 sec... (may be less than that).... we wanted to be there with dev to see his heart cming onto his eyes for what he just figured.. and thats what my concern was. rest all was good.

its okay... Dev ne pucha nahi but everything happened on Date was Beautiful Beyond words... Dev's so many closeups, so many expressions, reactions, emotions... mujhe to goosebumps aaye jitni baar dekha.... one pretty emotionally heavy coffee date.... so dont worry aage bahut chezo ke liye puchenge Dev Sir
