There are specific reasons why there are expectations from Abhimanyu.

1) When it came to Akshara Abhimanyu relationship, she has always had the upper hand. Even before confessing her love. It was always him crawling back to her - despite her not telling him truths which he always deserved to know.

2) He has always always supported her - despite her taking blame for her vile criminal sister. All he requested was not to let her come to wedding - but Akshara couldn’t even give him that. And the second he found out she’s unhappy - he again backed down. Accepted what she wanted.

3) He has always forgiven her for not telling him things and not trusting him. So she has already assumed that he will patiently listen to her for not taking him into confidence about Kairav and making him a fugitive.

Due to all above reasons, she’s just totally flabbergasted that how he can not trust me? This is something that has never ever happened before. So she’s totally blindsided.

I think that is the hope. With this much emotional drama and dialogues calling people this that and the other the offenders have to get a healthy dose of their own medicine.

I really don't see Abhi announcing any marriage with Maya. He knows that Akshu was singing for Maya as to exactly why he doesn't know. But no way Dr. Khera would put forth that relation. He barely got out alive he isn't that stupid to enter that lion's den.

Abhi will have damaged his relations with the Goenkas and with Akshu. And his other fear of one day his anger getting out of control and doing something really bad has come. Did he have the right to arrest Kairav of course. But this should have been a private matter instead he decided to air the dirty laundry in front of the media.

And when the truth comes out? Is the punishment that the public calls him a bad husband who didn't believe his wife? Is the punishment that the public calls him a fool? Nah, I think its him realizing all the things he said in anger that he can never take back. The feelings he hurt. And he will be stuck on how to apologize and make things better. It was one thing with his father as he was protecting his mom. Harshvardhan also had thick skin never realizing his wrong. But it is another thing to hurt your loved ones.

Akshu herself shouldn't exactly feel that great as she caused the miscommunication and anger to increase in Abhi when she continued to be silent. Someone has to bring that to her attention.

They could use that to have Birlas keep things from Abhi. So he is unaware of other serious issues he should know about and thus it will affect his actions causing more misunderstanding to occur between him and Akshu.
