I was confused about Sai too
Sai didn't know CN people assumed her dead and now she knows, what changed between her knowing and not knowing the truth?
Didn't they show us many episodes saying Sai is upset because Virat didn't come looking for her, now that the reason has been laid in front of her, there's no response of reception of this information
What was the point of her death if that wasn't going to be a part of the story?

Everything is repeat and rehash is my overall impression.
The makers are picking up scenarios from past episodes directly and indirectly and trying to show us that nothing has changed... and yet everything has changed.
V still misunderstands Sai in his fit of anger. People mock us for calling it passion... but that's what it is... a possessiveness that he feels only for Sai. I have never watched Kabir Singh but from whatever I read, I think we can equate V as Kabir Singh.
P is still his 'mature dost' who gives him a listening ear.
And according to V, Sai is naïve enough to never fulfill that but that she can be influenced by people like Jags easily.
Writers have made Sai the most confusing character today.
And yet... with kids in picture.... everything has changed. The mess of their lives has now included 2 sweet kids and hopefully these would be the catalyst that can resolve the matter.... now more than ever.
V-P and Sai-UM scenes run in parallel... so my suggestion to those who watch would be to see them in continuity as dialogues, contrasting views and yet related to each other.
V holds Sai's hand so harshly that it is reminiscent of lunch kaand. Its definitely abusive and for a moment he seems to be seeing her pain. Vinu saves the day by coming in and V leaves her, bites his own hand in frustration. If this is to suggest that he will regret this later, then good 👍🏼
Vinu wants to go with Sai but V harshly asks him to rest. Don't think he has behaved like that with him ever. Sai is soft with Vinu. P is surprised at this. Sai taunts about wife and V looks at her angrily. P gets that an interaction must have happened.
Sai Mohit convo is already discussed. no point in going over. Teams are flipped.

P asks V why he didn't tell her that Sai is alive. He is shocked and I guess for the first time realizes why she might be asking that.
Sai ka breakdown starts, she wonders why V came back in her life... again a confusing statement when she herself was hoping V would come looking for her.
She was waiting fir Virat to come looking for her not Virat who is married that to with PL and has kid. illogical based on age but thats reality she sees, they r parenting a kid, (to me adopted or real makes no difference, they made a decision to raise a cjild as family thats a big deal, its not like he is staying away n marriage is on paper, they r full in it acting as parents.
P repeats why didn't you tell me about Sai when I am your wife and I have that haq. Also questions whether she has the haq.
V observes her intently.
P questions V whether he still has feelings for Sai and UM does the same to Sai.
V goes on a diatribe about why didn't she come, blames Sai for going away with Vinu😡. Sai apparently lives a happy life (really Mr. Chavan??? Didn't you see how Gulab treated her?) V tells P that Saavi is Sai's daughter. P gets worried for a moment.
V remarks that Sai was in contact with Jags when she didn't tell him or them... in all that when he mentions Sam... he remembers that Sai called Sam brother, but doesn't mention 'tumhara pati' to P.... how cruel!!!
It may also be a subtle taunt to P which I might be reading too much.... but Sai-Sam bond was genuine and pure... unlike Sam-P bond where she did not consider him her husband 😆. Truth he knows and comes out in a moment of anger.
V is concerned only about Sai-Jags and says he will go mad if doesn't get answers. wants to kill Jags in mad rage. Wonders why Sai doesn't answer anyone? Sai ka core characteristic is intact. She doesn't explain herself. Has never felt the need.
Sai in the parallel scene is telling UM how V has blamed her with Jags. UM says V has fikr and that he loves her.
Sai questions if he had feelings for me, then why did he marry P?
UM very sensibly says, you need to talk.... but both Sai-V have decided not to bring up past. If not for themselves, do it for Saavi. P says only Sai has the right to decide whether Saavi ka paternity to be told to him. V is adamant. He wants to know... maybe because he doesn't believe Sai would do such a thing with Jags and also maybe he still feels that haq to demand answers from her. But yes, at this point, he is questioning Sai and Jags ka closeness but doesn't look like he is assuming the worst. YET!!!
V ka diatribe continues... P is absorbing. If she has any sense, she wouldn't go by his words but the hidden meaning in them.

Here's where the fault in the character lies. V has never told Sai in clear terms that the vaada is long gone. Sai inspite of multiple reassurances later, V-P marriage has put her in that spiral again. P is also in her original state where she knew right away that V loves Sai and that she doesn't matter.
P knows everything will change between them. V is the angry bird mode here... says nothing will change between us and Sai se mera koi rishta nahi hai. do not tell anyone that Sai is alive. I had just tried to move on and she came back.

How wrong this will be proved in future.... neither is P his biwi nor Vinu ki Mumma. He is saying this, but we all know it wont happen.... that is either to calm P or said in spite.
Sai accepts to UM that seeing V-P together hurts her tremendously... that he moved on and she is stuck.
How wrong this too will be proved in future. I agree with Sway here, it is a misunderstanding to a massive scale and it is bound to come crashing.

For a change it would have been nice If Virat was made to stay to see Sai’s struggles, her side of story n realize that he wronged Sai. In CN we will see sob stories of CN people and how mahan PL helped tjem, make Sai guilty of leaving because her husband chose abuser. But PL is positive and yes drama is needed. They are efficiently washing that idea that Virat is wrong and even his marriage with PL is termed as MU! The way they change narrative n play with viewers psyc is amazing!
Somebody has to do the job for them. Surprisingly, it might be P and Jags in this case. 🤪

I didn't feel UM was totally wrong in whatever she said. Saavi has the right to know about her father. That's her right and she is a sensible kid. If told nicely, she would understand. I had mentioned this in the initial post leap episodes, that if Sai cannot lie that V is dead, then she should have told Saavi ki "aai baba ka zhagda hua hai, katti hai, vo nahi aayenge" that would have been sensible. By giving her no information, that is just raising hopes in the innocent mind. Now Sai cannot answer, I doubt she ever had answer anyway, if she was not willing to go back to V or was not ready to tell V about Saavi .... to kya plan tha? not for V but for Saavi????
Its not a toy ki Saavi bhul jayegi. As she grows older, the questions would still be raised about her paternity, so how was Sai planning to handle them then? I know Sai doesn't lie, but it would have been better for Saavi ka mental health if Sai had told her that her Baba is no more. Better than giving false hopes.
May be she would have found someone too in life. Who would have fathered Savi. May be she would have told her when time was right. I am sure she didn’t expect in her worst nightmare that he would marry PL. They keep making Savi say baba baba all the time its all made about Virat- BUT Again clever mind play on their end. This one sided narrative is shown so much that it is actually now working. Soon seeing CN struggles n sob stories we may also agree that Sai was wrong to leave. What if she had stayed. Smart of them to not disclose anything about Sai. It definitely helps garnering sympathy for Virat if not PL.Vinu is the other one who is going to be the catalyst... I so want that the illegal adoption comes out in open before his parentage is revealed and Sai adopts him. That would be high intensity drama.
The episode was needed before the scene shifts to CN. Now, when Sai goes...she will go as duty.... Mohit ka reaction will give her inkling about the changed perceptions about her. She will be steeled and aloof.
This episode is to create that explosive situation in CN when Sai reaches there. Maybe on Saturday. I want it to happen on Monday.... Navratri ke pehle din ghar ki laxmi aur ghar ki jyoti ghar vapas.... if this is not symbolic, dont know what is.
Lets hope they dont end up insulting and abusing her on such auspicious day!

In the initial episodes post leap, it was shown that Sai is angry at V for not coming back for her, she didn't knew then that he had assumed her dead... so whether he was married or not is inconsequential.
It fully implied that she was waiting for him to come. Many even questioned why should she wait... since we as audience knew he had married P.
Sai ke struggles are never shown in detail... that's a fact. I guess we should accept this fact and stop hoping for it to happen.
But in this case, a lot about her is still not known... especially about Jags and UM and how she came in touch with them.
Mostly, we as audience know more than characters... in her case, even we don't know. I guess Jags is kept in sidelines only for this... they will stretch this MU as much as they can and V-Jags might cross paths since Sai wont disclose. Only then her struggles will be known. It might be to create more suspense and drag the episodes. I see it as a change in tactic. Like even in the initial episodes post leap, V ka story unraveled very slowly. he hardly had anything in the first week.
Sai ka story is still under wraps. Only kids are story is available in detail.
My point for Saavi is still the first point... in initial post leap episodes, Sai is massively angry at V, tells UM I don't care for him, hasn't called him and told him that she is alive. Yet she hides the truth from Saavi. Even when Gulab insinuates crap. I had expected Sai to twist the tale and tell something to Saavi if not lie that her father is dead. Why give her hopes man?
Like I said, bol deti ki "katti hai... nahi aayenge" How was she sure that he is alive and not moved on or anything without contacting him all these years?
I am not blaming Sai... don't want to... but they deliberately made her confusing and naive today.
Just like even being a doctor she is not doubting how come Vinu is older than Saavi if she believes he is biological child?
Agar uske marne ke baad immediately bhi procreate kiya aisa use lagta hai to Vinu should be atleast 9 months younger than Saavi right? Kaha hai ya thinking?

Vahi.... I am not expecting him to notice it and apologize... I am looking at the broader context that he realizes he is at fault for misunderstanding her later when the truth comes out and hopefully remember how harshly he behaved. Abhi koi treat nahi milegi 👎🏼
