Adrak kuchh confirm nahin kar sakta Nishitaji. I realized I've been mispronouncing badchalan as badjalan all my life. 🤦
I mean, I do know that chalan means character, and bad- is literally bad, as in badnaam, baddua,... etc. Phir bhi kabhi bheje mein strike nahin hua.
In my defense, the only time I've heard badchalan is in the movies... it's not used in normal conversation. I've never "read" it, only heard it. Also, both j and ch use similar mouth shape, so my brain always heard the ch as j, for God knows why.
