I was still okay abhi trusting his sister more than kairav as he knows her better and even for eg if someone comes and says your family memeber is evil nobody will believe and it will take some time for them to process that or they need strong proofs and since kairav did not had anything other than akshus words it will be hard to trust.

Akshu is his wife we know but she is also kairav's sister. And akshu has history of covering up things for her siblings which does not let anyone believe her.

In the mission of bachao kv she is hurting an innocent Abhi by keeping him in dark. It only proves she left Abhi for her family not for him. Her sacrifice become null by this for me.

If she is with Abhi they both can solve it. It doesn't Aks alone mission. Abhi already promised her. He also have the haq to find truth behind the death of his sister. If u look back also he always supported AK only in this Anisha case. He believes her.
