Haha, I will take your word for it, AY😆 I have been watching the forum drama for quite a while. One thing I realized that Gul Maata never changes her colours...dude, her answers for the Jaaniya exit were so resonant of IB times, I just can't🤣 I had a stunning sense of deja vu as she replied mercilessly without a care to hapless fans who were venting😆 Ultimately, Gul does what she wants to, and fans will just have to deal with it😎

I have seen a couple of scenes from S1 here and there and you could tell Adi-Imlie had a solid story and chemistry. Oh, but why did you fall down the rabbit hole after IB, AY? *tuts in affectionate disapproval* *overlooks the hypocrisy of starting a Gul show anew herself*

@bold: LMAO😆.....the irony is that the reason I tuned in for Adilie was precisely because they were so UNLIKE a Gul pair😆....that was the hook for me.....lol.....but then Gul had to revert to her cliches and the rest is history 😆.

Baaki I think we are all meant to weave in and out of Gul world as per our whims....haha sabka number lagta rehta hai on and off😆.

LOL, yes...we really can't resist falling in her trap at an unholy time😆 But I agree about whatever fleeting scenes i have seen of Adi/Imlie. Theirs was a more emotionally complex, rustic story-line with a fallible and down to earth hero and a genuinely feisty heroine who fell a prey to the designs of fate. The hero also wasn't the typical arrogant male lead Gul is so fond of depicting time and again in her shows. Alas, she subverted it again and repeated the same old trope when the actor opted out.

Adi was basically genuinely an aam aadmi.....a middle class hero which is basically UNHEARD of in Gul land😆. Alas, ITV has no real appreciation for the aam aadmis or simple desires waale log.....ultimately they get what they clamor for....the arrogant brooding businessman types they can objectify😆

I think I stopped following when they showed Veer being guilty of causing her first husband's death and more importantly when the MIL became negative😆 And yeah, they did introduce a humshakal track, I remember reading an article about it😆

I was purely in for the wooing phase like you which is the best aspect of ITV shows. Later, I did watch the last episode with their happily ever after though!

Absolutely, rooted and down to earth protagonists, facing the every day struggles/joys of the common man are a rarity on ITV. But kudos to Gashmeer for quitting when he did. I read about the unsavoury storyline preceding his exit and he was justified as an actor to quit when the writing went downhill.
