Dance or Drama?

This season so far, really feels like it has lost it’s essence. What was once a great dance reality show has now turned into family drama, emotional stories and struggling background talks etc.

Even the acts don’t feel like what they used to in the previous seasons (excluding season 9 that one was a mess)

Also, why are the choreographers not being credited enough?
Karan talked about Faisu’s act having the best choreography and didn’t even take Vaishnavi’s name to acknowledge it.

Previous seasons atleast acknowledged the choreographers for their good choreography and teaching the celebs nicely. Known names like Tushar, Punit and Salman were given their due credit on the very same stage which one of the reasons why they rose to even more fame.

And if they really want emotional drama on the show, have the celebs talk about how difficult it was for them to learn the dance forms instead of how long they’ve waited to come on jhalak or how much hate they get.
Jhalak should be about dance and only dance in my opinion. Which is also why they really need to get a real choreographer on that judges panel. Previous seasons have had 4 judges, this season can too. It’s not even too late to add another judge.

They even use the rehearsal footage as an excuse to put in more comedy, it's so irritating. I want to see everyone's process in creating these performances.

It's kind of demeaning if I'm honest, it's like they don't even see choreographers as human beings, just props for their celebrity contestants.

I understand that they need to take break in between the performances but the breaks are way too long and boring.

It’s not even comedy tbh. They’re very cheap and inappropriate jokes which aren’t even remotely funny.

I see on social media how the celebs are having fun with their choreographers and seem to be great friends with them. And on the show the makers make it look like they’re background dancers for the celebs and have nothing to do with them. It’s so so disheartening honestly. The choreographers are what bring the show and their respective acts to life and then end up to not even having their names taken as an acknowledgment to their choreographies.
