What does habs mean???
Imprisonment... is it correct? Or have other meaning in urdu ?
From what I got from Google and Rekhta was that ....imprisonment.. suffocation.
Would like to know if there are alternate meanings...

When I searched, I got imprisonment only.
But I remember in one of scenes in chupke chupke, gul and mishi were talking something about mishi going to terrace for fresh air nd gul said bahar bhi habs hi hai( this was running in my mind from the time I started watching habs) I just wanted to know the meaning ....
So I was confused .. like imprisonment make no sense in that scene..
now you mentioned suffocation... so this is more relatable...

Yaaaa....you need to watch epi 3 to see how deep-seated Basit's paranoia is when it comes to women.
Also to see his shirt buttons undone....and there is one scene where the shirt comes off...not saying much more...🤣

Yeaaah..Rekhta is actually a good source for Urdu to English dictionary..Also they have a place where you can start learning the Urdu script. I started but did not make much progress beyond Alif (A).
But I was reading a Brit-Pak novel where the word hubb is used as a synonym for love. 🤔

Bold :- uff uff uff shaitan ladki you are tempting me to watch the episode immediately ☺️
Starting episodes are giving a lot about basit's deep rooted trauma... actually it has been shown in later episodes too.. but as I watched from middle I always gave sadia a benefit of doubt.
But from first 2 episodes what I got is sadia was actually kinda guilty.. if not for Salman but for basit for sure ...
Also one more episode and i hate qudsia more... she did so wrong to bano ... qudsia nd that Bobby phupho both were puri evil while attending talal and his mom..
And qudsia is pro liar... she changed whole story nd made it believe like Talal's mom insulted her..
Selfish woman 😡
Oh btw this soha girl looks quite old in compare to basit ... and ayesha Omar resembles a lot like humaima malik or it's just me who feels so😳😳

I too take help from friends to know meaning better.
Coz often one word is used for more than one references..
Hubb nd habs are different... so the other word can be love..

hehe....hmmmmmmm.....wonder what your reaction will be to the scene...
Yeah as for Sadia, the story is written so that you empathise with her despite knowing what she did to Basit was wrong. I love that quality about this script that it allows for human frailty, that one can make mistakes and then one can regret, and that simply because someone made a mistake doesn't make them into a negative character.
Like what Basit said at the graveyard, you had thought I was alright with my father, but I wasn't alright. I was never alright. Sadia hurt Basit unknowingly, left him traumatised and scarred for life.
Oh god! Yes Qudsia's dealing with Talal and his mom, really you want to throttle her at the time.
hahaha..Soha and Basit really had no chemistry. But I didn't mind since was waiting eagerly at the time for Ayesha's entry into Basit's life. Soha has a nice scene around ep4-5...can't tell for sure which epi..but you will know when you see it...
