A MUCH better JDJ epi today compared to last week.....like LEAPS of improvement😆. Even beyond GM's performance, I mostly enjoyed the epi and didn't have to forward as much crap as I did last week😆i 2nd you strongly on this.. what an improvement for all thanks tot he live acts with actual proper concepts sabka thing has a proper story and everyone did seem to have put on effort into improving..
I guess it helped that this week was actual proper performances rather than just CGI gimmicks.....sab one go mein kiya rather than split shots.
Ok, focusing on GM first.....they basically are pitching him and Ammu as a package duo and gave them a whole biiiig segment in this epi to first set up their "rivalry" and then show their performances back to back and then even gave them scores at the same time to basically TIE everything😆.....they both got standing ovations, same scores as well as same stamp in Jhalak passport😆.
And it wasn't just for show, they were both actually equally good today in very different performances 👏.....Ammu toh I was pleasantly surprised by cuz I loved the song choice of Laila and she did really well in the dance style she did this time - attitude especially was superb with the heels and all....seeing her outside of Lavni improves my opinion of her dancing😆
Then humare GM saab also came roaring out the gate today👏😆.....it was clearly a performance he THOROUGHLY enjoyed doing from start to finish....retro song, retro Shammi Kapoor waale moves and then all the Jazz stuff with the kicks, stretches, splits.....waise split was half wala only I think....lol even Ammu did a split in the end and hers was better I'd say😆......GM ka act had the whole playful element very nicely incorporated this time and he got the whole solo chair piece also. Even Ammu's act had a solo piece....lol even their choreographers seem to have become very good friends now and har cheez takkar ki kar rahe hain mirror image types😆. To sum it up, GM's performance had a full movie hero feel for sure....but then again, he actually IS a movie hero only na😆....bas kuch log bhool gaye since they know him from ITV only😆
GM got very sweet comments once again from the judges....Madhuri clearly is quite impressed by him as a dancer....aaj bhi bahut warmly bola ki what a super dancer you are, Gashmeer😆....LOL GM bechara bas thank you hi bol paata hai and they quickly move on to scoring😆
Holy mother of God Gm toh aaj kisi aur hi duniay main mast tha and i enjoyed every single moment of his time on screen.. his Expressions his timings his excitement and joy.. aaj sach main aise lag raha tha ke Gm bas enjoy karna aaya hai and dance apne aap nikal raha tha i so agree with what you said in the other post GM was OUTSTANDING matlab sach main BAM BAM BAM ek sec ka paise nahi and the energy was sooooooo freaking MAD..i wholeheartedly agreeed with what Kjo said and am glad Someone mentioned that his footwork is sooo Bloody Brilliant..t hey truly deserved 27 a 9 from everyone caz they were that good yeh 8 wala act nahi tha... they gave them less marks i felt and baaki over marks to paras.. same goes for ammu she was just Brilliant.. i was to fully lost in her attitude and bodylanguage and doing all this with such grace.. matlab all the facial expressions were so well done and moves were done so aesthetically such main ti was very hard to pick who was better and even ammu i felt deserved 27 overalll . it was the attitude in both acts that took them on another level esp GM and ammu's Gm ka toh bas nahi chal raha tha ke bas naache hi jaaye i also foudn it adorable how he was dancing along madhuri on chumma in hsi chair i was remidned of his amitabh ke songs pe naachanahai comment yeh log created the mahol
Anyways sab nautanki rivalry hi hai iski aur Ammu ki but it was a fun bit today.
One of the best bits was when they were doing the whole drama of GM supposedly stressing out over act kaise improve karein to compete with Ammu toh Romsha says "is baar do layers of kapde utaar denge" and GM was like "arey HAR BAAR kapde utaar ke nahin chalega, DANCE karna padega Romsha"🤣🤣
Waise now I feel that whole face-off act of his with Ammu was also choreographed and planned with the shirt removal....phir se Romsha ka hi idea hoga since her solution to everything is - one more layer of kapde utaar lo😆
oh it totally was planned with such co ordinated steps and all .. but still that too so well put together and was gald GM ne jaldi se shirt pehan bhi li and his COmment ke naachna bhi apdega was truly the Moment of the night..
Ok other acts mein Gunjan was FABBB as expected....she just had one minor mistake in her act in the end but otherwise flawless start to finish.
Gunajn bache ke expressions toh Kya hi kehne man she is a Born star in every way sach main aaj kal ki kitni heroines and FL's se better classic expressiosn thay iske and i loved her spirit ke slip ho gaya but how she covered it and and went with more energy and josh.. she didn't even let anyoen feel ke kuch ho gaya the way she reacted to it and i appreciate her not milking it after and them not even mentioning ke ho gaya gadbad until kho applauded her she totally deserved the applause .. yeh abche are what sets the standard..a nd aaj Gm ammu along with them imadhuri was so right yeh hai jahlak 2.0 they all did raise the standard
I liked Rubina's act also with the way they used Lag Jaa Gale....mostly lift based act tha and they did waltz but decent choreography from Sanam. Judges are also pushing Rubina to do more masala acts than yeh formal type dancing....lol toh next week shaayad kuch bollywood karegi. rubi was very soft her dance had the soothign quality to it i did like it too it had very calming quality but yeah it totally got overshadowed caz isne kuch naya nahi try kia as such.. even shilpa tried new hence got noticed even though she still danced very little but thoda bohat and yes she covered up for lack of dancing in expressions thought she chose an icon like helen and that was a tough call she managed to do a bit better as you said smart choreography felt like a tribute and not disrepectful in anyway.. paras ka . Paras ka i agree with Nora.. I did feel jhat jhat khatka everytime he lifted his partenr.. it was very below average and mostly Shweta was dancing and doing everything he was just there to support and i felt he got fair 21 but other 3 deserved more..
End mein woh Paras did some tango on Bheegi bheegi raaton mein which was kinda blahh I feel despite the choreographer being good....but I was feeling kinda bored by then....lol
Shilpa ka act was better than her opening week one....her choreographer is smart in trying to push her very incrementally and relying mostly on her expressions for the acts but it worked for today's act still.
I think overall I'm enjoying retro week cuz puraane gaane toh sunne ko milte hain😆
oh one more thing a few times i felt they beech main edited nora ki crtique her sentences felt incomplete like she is talking and then suddenly they'd show her points and cut her short. madhuri ki seeti for gm felt so nice
