Star is trp hungry channel
and it makes sense. At the end, it's business and they're at least doing that well. Sitara, Rangu both are regressive which serve trash but at least sitara is performing well. If you're Rangu, and ok with below 1 trp, then you should do some out of the box stuff.
Sitara have guts to shut down shows even if it is from ekta ph if it doesn't have trp...rangu lacks it....if it was sitara naagin was shut by this time....
Shows like ghum rarely does outdoor shooting that too only near film city and fetches trp with minimum expense..here color shows does grand outdoor shooting even in foreign countries and is not able to compete with others...what happened with ud is they butchered every character to get sympathy for others...in other shows atleast they won't butcher fl so that audience will watch for them...eg anupamaa and sai of ghum
