Film gets better post the first 40 ish mins of exposition…agree that chinmayis dubbing jarred a bit at first ….it gets less irritating tho and the second half is quite gripping imo

Quite an emotional movie. Mrunal looks so gorgeous in this film. Her smile and simplicity-filled character just melt my heart. Ram's innocence is also endearing. But I hate sad endings and feel here it could have been avoided. Don't know why love story writers these days feel it's compulsory to give a sad ending in order to make it beautiful. Anyway, apart from the ending, storywise it was sweet. Leads had great chemistry and warmth with each other. Songs also are not just filled with words of love but also there is complete devotion. I loved the lyrics. However, I feel Hindi translation of songs failed to encapsulate devotion.

It is slow for first 40 mins, then picks up fast from there and you would not even realize it till you reach the climax sequence.

Watched this movie few days ago on Prime. I don't understand much Telugu so the English subtitles helped me a lot.

Overall I will say it's a beautiful and hearttouching story of 2 people and their true and selfless love. It did remind me of Veer Zaara a bit but this movie was far better and logical than that movie.

Spoiler ahead- Ram knew Sita's real identity. In his last letter to her he wrote her Hyderabad palace address Many must have thought why did he write her name as Sita Mahalakshmi because if he had written Princess Noor Jahan then the letter would have surely reached her on time. One reason could be that his mind was distraught as he was going to die soon. The second and most important reason was that was the main part of the story. The letter will never reach on time and after 20 years Afreen will do everything to get the letter sent to its rightful owner so that she can repay the debt of Ram and also prove him innocent.

The performances of everyone was good. Dulqer and Mrunal looked amazing together and their acting was superb. The supporting cast were also good.

It's a must watch movie for everyone even though they don't know the language.
