Ok I also wanna mention here aside from birs lack of charisma and charm
He lacked intensity too I felt
So many times in the film ab snr and nagarjuna were trying to up the intensity with their dialogues and expressions and bir goes and says something stupid or silly and ruins it …same with some dialogues they give alia (the one where she’s trying to distract mounis sidekick and calls him a cheapo)
I think they tried to be quippy and funny like the marvel movies ,…but marvel handles the intensity equally well with the humor
The humor here is just 🙃…like please throw ranbir out of the frame so I can listen to ab snrs baritone or look at an angry nagarjuna…kthanx
It felt like ranbir alia and their whole arc together were like pesky insects ruining an otherwise seemingly promising film …just throw them out, hire a good dialogue writer and good sound engineer and this should work
From the trailers Ranbir looked lethargic in this movie for some reason.
In comparison in Shamshera he looked much better.
