All Time Advances - Brahmastra Fourth

Brahmastra has recorded the fourth highest advance of all time for Hindi films and the second highest ever for original content. The three films above it are KGF 2 , Bahubali - The Conclusion and War. The last named is the only original Hindi film above Brahmastra and the reason why that film is ahead is because it had a huge national holiday on day one.

So even though the ticket prices are higher for Brahmastra it still cant match the first day advance of War though post the first day the advance of Brahmastra is better than War. The advance at the national chains is better than War but it fall shorts in other cinemas.

It also has to be noted that the advance of Brahmastra has come post pandemic while the other original Hindi films were pre pandemic and it is a fact that was a larger pool audience going to the theatres before the pandemic.. The advance at PVR chain was only 20% less than the KGF 2 advance driven by sales in 3D. There is a huge out performance here as overall the advance is 35% less than KGF 2. The top advances for all films released in Hindi in terms of collections till date are as follows

1. KGF 2 - 42,50,00,000

2. Bahubali: The Conclusion (Hindi) - 37,53,00,000

3. War - 29,53,00,000

4. Brahmastra 27-28 crore

5. Thugs Of Hindostan - 26,27,00,000

6. Tiger Zinda Hai - 24,76,00,000

7. Bharat - 23,47,00,000

8. Sultan - 21,53,00,000

9. Sanju - 20,35,00,000

10. Race 3 - 19,16,00,000

Common census is first half is brilliant, second half not that great. Chalo atleast majority are loving the vfx, which was made fun of by so called experts here 😆

From the reviews, it sounds like a average affair. Because of ganpati, it might do well for first few days but rest will be WOM.
